Little space decor while living with Daddy?

Recommended Posts

Me and Daddy have lived together for 3 years, but just recently gotten into ddlg. I want to decorate our bedroom as little space themed. Daddy says he doesn’t care about room decorations type stuff, but I’ll feel bad if it’s too girly. Any tips?

ehm hello! :)

One option make it dreamy with little white lights , wrapped around brunches. You can paint the brunches a silver color or anything you like.

If you can , put curtains to fall from the roof (sorry for my english , i try to describe what i mean :p ). Lots of princess decoration items can make it look classy and girly without attacking the manly side of your daddy :)

Second option is to put a neutral but nice color in the walls and change decoration / colors (in sheets, candles, pillows, decorations) every season. This way you will never get bored.

You don`t have to make it a kindergarten if this wouldn`t be much appreciated by your daddy, but you can put a few creative  touch ups , like fluffy pillows, stuffed bears, nice blankets, a big painting frame with your favorite artworks/drawings in it, or a collage of happy ddlg moments with you and him. Colourful candles with nice yummy smells are always a great touch in a room, since it must always smell nice and in general keep in mind that the result must feel like a comfy hug where you can relax , forget about the troubles of the day , and cuddle

I would make a little corner that is all mine and leave the rest of the room adult. Fluffy pillows piled up to sit in and on with stuffies and maybe a princess canopy. You could have a shelving unit for your toys, books, stuffies, coloring books, crayons, etc. Maybe a toy box. I would feel bad having an entire room heavily little themed if the other person wasn't little too (regardless of what they say).

Something like this: http://praseinspirar.com.br/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/e659dd362cd36acfec7e8592745d3386.jpg

He may say he doesn't mind but thoughts can be different to reality. So you don't want to decorate the whole room and then have him realise he does actually care. So I agree with what's said above. Set aside a space for it, if your room is big enough for that. A corner would be ideal because you can have a pile of cushions and stuffies and it's easily contained because it's a corner. You could get one of those mosquito nets that are usually only a few dollars and drape fairy lights around the top. It really depends on the size of the space you have, but you could do a lot with just a section of a room.

I am dealing with this right now too. Daddy and I just bought a house and I want a little space... Daddy is okay with it but I know if it's wayyyy too princessy Daddy will dislike it. Our master bedroom has a giant cubby hole closet with carriage house doors so I am thinking of making that into my little zone!!

Daddy doesn't mind our room being "little space". It looks more like a teenagers room than two adults approaching 30. There are posters and coloring sheets on the wall, black and neon bedding with stuffies, and little toys and books everywhere. I've never been into pastels and pink or princess-ish aesthetics so I suppose that helps him accept and approve everything.

My daddy does not mind our bedroom being over ran with plushies and stuffies... in fact the whole house just looks like we have kids with all the lego, board games and cool nerdy stuff. I try and keep the decor adult though - but, when we decorate my little room, it's gonna be pink! :D
