how did you find out about ddlg?

I think calling guys Daddy in bed has been pretty popular in the media since I've been sexually active, at some point I was like "huh... I get it. I'd do that." and once I did it, all I could think was "MORE"

 

And a couple of google searches later, I found it

My Daddy and my relationship was always very dd/lg oriented, but we didn't realize it until we started looking into bdsm. So much of it intrigued us, but was way too dark and heavy. I found out about Binky Princess, and I realized that I enjoyed drinking out of a bottle, then my friend bought me a binky because we'd been talking about them.  It was kind of like a joke, but also not a joke (she also uses binkies and is somewhat a little), and I realized I really liked all this stuff, learned more about it, and realized that I do get into the headspace where I am very young and little.

My boyfriend and I talked about it and he didn't like being called daddy, but he liked papa.  And so that's the story of how I found out about ddlg, realized I was a little, and "converted" my boyfriend into my papa.

I read the term DDLG on a forum. I did not know what that meant. I asked Thysminia to do a search. And to our surprise, we found that much of the DDLG's features were already part of our everyday lives. We were in a BDSM relationship (D / s) soft.

I was a submissive in service to someone and strictly opposed to DDlg. I could never have seen myself being little or part of that lifestyle because in my mind acting in such a way was being a bad submissive. Fast forward to Beyond Leather last year, my lifestyle mentor clearly saw something in me that I did not and encouraged me to attend the littles and pet ROMP and omg it was like breathing for the first time and parts of my personality just clicked into place and made sense, I finally felt whole.

I first came across the DDlg term in fanfiction  . I remember being fascinated by the whole idea, while also thinking I could see myself in the little aspect of it. So I decided to learn more about it. It was then that I really began to see parts of being a little in myself. I'm not sure how accurate the fanfiction was in its depiction of DDlg since its been a while since I first read it, but I still can thank the writer in a way for leading me to discovering this aspect of myself.

My girlfriend is a little. She discovered it during our relationship. From Tumblr if I remember correctly. We introduced it to our lives slowly, but I'm not a caregiver so it's not the same. It's not natural for me. Just something I do because I love her and I want to make her happy. I take care of her when she's in little space, but there are no rules, punishments or rewards or anything. It doesn't have the structure that she needs. That's why I brought up the idea of her seeking a real daddy. It was a little while after she found a daddy that I began to think I was a middle. I've known what a middle was pretty much right after she told me about her littlespace, but I didn't think I would ever be one! Surprise!
