Miss_behaved Posted March 26, 2018 Report Posted March 26, 2018 What do you guys get? or Daddy’s - what do you like to receive for your birthdays? I have a couple ideas but still trying to figure out what to get him....or what to do.
RavenclawPrincess Posted March 26, 2018 Report Posted March 26, 2018 Does your daddy collect anything? Mine collects movies so usually he goes nuts over DVDs that he's been looking for. He also really likes cool tshirts, and he likes when I color pictures for him. You know what your daddy likes better than we do but there's a couple of starter ideas for you based on what gifts my daddy likes the best. 1
Miss_behaved Posted March 26, 2018 Author Report Posted March 26, 2018 He collects like vintage apothecary bottles but I have no idea which ones he might like. I did get him a funny shirt and have one other idea but still want to get one more thing...just drawing a blank. Wondering if there’s anything that’s more a good gift for a daddy. Like a new implement or something to make his life easier or...? *shrug* 1
Guest Arc Posted March 26, 2018 Report Posted March 26, 2018 It's always hard to talk about presents and things to do for someone else without knowing them. Things I've done in the past for my Daddy have been an engraved hip flask, a mini scrapbook with photos of us, a set of 'open when' letters (look this up on pinterest if you don't know what it is), his favourite alcohol, a new leather wallet, a flogger, and a figurine from his favourite film. My Daddy basically loves anything with thought. He doesn't like meaningless gifts or things where a lot of money is spent. His favourite gift was probably his birthday last year where I made him his favourite cake and gave him the journal I had been writing since we started our relationship. So you could find something he loves, you could find a traditional gift like a watch or hip flask, or you could just spend the day spoiling him and bake him something he loves and make him a nice dinner.
RavenclawPrincess Posted March 26, 2018 Report Posted March 26, 2018 For something more personal maybe you could take some naughty photos for him? One time I was totally naked but used stuffies to strategically cover myself up in various sexual positions and that was a bit of a DDlg twist that he really enjoyed and doesn't usually see on a regular basis. He really liked the playful/teasing aspect of it so maybe something like that would be a good "daddy" gift that he'd like, and it's free to take your own pictures so there's a plus. Try to think outside of the box and be creative!
princessfreckles Posted March 27, 2018 Report Posted March 27, 2018 I love the naughty little photo shoot idea with the stuffies. Also for a personal sweet present maybe print out a picture of you two and paint the frame? I know at craft stores and even Walmart they have the wooden frames in the craft section. Another idea is something as simple as a personalized keychain that has meaning to you and him. As in engraved with the date you met or when you were collared. Something with some sentimental value that when he looks at it, he'll smile and think of you. 1
Guest RedDragon Posted March 27, 2018 Report Posted March 27, 2018 I always love receiving something handmade, like a letter, drawing, poem, story, other artwork. I don't need things that cost money. I like things that come from the heart. Even a special day planned to go somewhere I love, or out to get my favorite meal. Even better if she cooks for me or surprises me with hidden gifts around the house. Or coupons for hugs, kisses, head massages. Things like that. 2
RavenclawPrincess Posted March 27, 2018 Report Posted March 27, 2018 I think we all agree that something personalized and meaningful (especially if it's handmade/doing something really nice for him) is the way to go for at least one of your daddy's birthday gifts!
neko Posted March 27, 2018 Report Posted March 27, 2018 my daddy doesnt like the idea of being forced to buy gifts for certain days so i dont really get him anything aside from christmas i remember things he says he needs (pajama pants, socks, boxers) or things he mentions he likes/wants
poetdashdaddy Posted March 27, 2018 Report Posted March 27, 2018 I agree with what everyone else has said about something personal. Looking back on gifts from my little, the time she bought me a mug themed from my favorite video game makes me smile. BUT, the time she gave me colored pictures signed To: Daddy From: Baby, or the little bracelets she'd make, etc. that stuff makes me want to cry tears of joy. Just be genuine and he'll love it no matter what. Let us know how it goes please. 1
RavenclawPrincess Posted March 27, 2018 Report Posted March 27, 2018 Yes, definitely let us know what you end up doing for your daddy's birthday and how everything turns out!
LittleKitten13 Posted March 27, 2018 Report Posted March 27, 2018 Papa and I both love Pokemon so we get Pokemon stuff, and nerdy stuff, and things like that.
Miss_behaved Posted March 27, 2018 Author Report Posted March 27, 2018 You guys are awesome!!! Right up my alley! I could definitely write a poem and am probably gonna bake him something too. I love the sentimental twists. I love the photo shoot idea as well. Thank you so much for all the suggestions and will definitely share how it goes - I have a couple weeks 1
Miss_behaved Posted March 27, 2018 Author Report Posted March 27, 2018 (edited) Ok!!! I just wrote this poem for him as his first gift. What do you guys think??? Be completely honest. He’s very sophisticated, intelligent....I don’t want to sound dumb even though I know he won’t judge. But any feedback is appreciated!! You sit me down and tell me how it should be Squirming in my seat, rather uncomfortably Not knowing what’s coming next Reflecting on my lack of respect One swift breath as you pull me over your lap Waiting in anticipation for that first slap Squirming under your hand, the emotions come forward “Lay still” you order My daddy is good, balanced, and just I begin to swell as we build this trust The pain is intense but you see it through Firmly reminding me of who I belong to My body stops tensing as I begin to relax Your words are soothing as you rub my back I never knew this was something I needed, my expectations were completely exceeded I came to you numb, unsure, and shy I took a chance and now Its clear why I promise to do my best, behave and stay calm For in the end, I am a reflection of my Dom (All rights reserved) or something like that haha Edited March 27, 2018 by Miss_behaved 1
RavenclawPrincess Posted March 27, 2018 Report Posted March 27, 2018 That's such a nice poem! I bet he'll really enjoy that and how personal/sentimental it is. So good! You should totally decorate the paper you write it on for him too! 1
Guest gobacktosleep Posted March 27, 2018 Report Posted March 27, 2018 For me I would rather have money spent on things that make my little girl happy. As a daddy i never needed anything for myself, except more time with my princess, so the best sort of gifts were things like being taken out to places where we had been interested in going together. Then again i'm not that material, so it's perhaps just me.

I feel like my daddy is the same way in that he would appreciate sentiment or being together vs material but I’m a giver so I like to do both
Guest RedDragon Posted March 28, 2018 Report Posted March 28, 2018 I love the poem! Very cute and well written. "The pain is intense but you see it through, Firmly reminding me of who I belong to" Paints such a clear picture of D/s in the moment.
Miss_behaved Posted March 28, 2018 Author Report Posted March 28, 2018 Thank you! I decided to print it out on a racy photo that’s faded a little in the background. I think he’ll love itI love the poem! Very cute and well written.
