Guest Hys Posted March 26, 2018 Report Posted March 26, 2018 Whenever I have a panic attack or feel one building up I take time for creativity in smaller forms, like writing or music. I find really good music always calms me down within twenty minutes and if you can't do either of those things just try to zone out a bit if attention isn't on you. Detatching from a situation probably isn't the healthiest suggestion but it would be helpful for the moment until you could reach those creative outlets. Just...try not to completely dissaciate or else if someone does focus on you, it might make anxiety even worse. Good luck! 1
Guest Lildaddycg Posted March 26, 2018 Report Posted March 26, 2018 Hey. What have you tried? Do you drive etc? Somewhere to have some alone time. https://www.healthline.com/health/how-to-stop-a-panic-attack#1
Guest Arc Posted March 26, 2018 Report Posted March 26, 2018 Make alone time then. Say you're tired and going to have a nap - that will get you at least half an hour away. Say you're going out to see a friend and go spend some time at a park or somewhere else quiet. A little time away is better than none.
