Often times a picture is just a picture, but when you get the eyes right it adds that extra bit that makes it really good.  Good job on that, they are detailed and have just the right amount of depth to make them interesting.

Agreed, Caresalot. First thing I noticed.

 

And speaking as an artist who creates original works (on rare occasion),

the eyes honestly are not just crucial, but difficult to get right.

I also agree. I find that I pay extra attention to the eyes when I paint my own original works. I like to say that the eyes are the window to the soul. Good job, Mishka, and good comment, CaresAlot.
