Suchasucker Posted March 21, 2018 Report Posted March 21, 2018 Does anyone else have a hard time getting out of their little space or feeling little for things like parenting, working, running errands or whatever else you kinda gotta have a big mind for? I am USUALLY pretty good at work but lately I am catching myself slipping after the fact and wondering if coworkers think I’m being weird and also in moments when I need to get big for at home I have a REALLY hard time being big for. Basically as soon as I get home I am deep in little space til I go to work. I feel like I’m stuck sometimes too much. How do you bring yourself back out of it when it just feels SO GOOD being little?
TwilightSparklez Posted March 21, 2018 Report Posted March 21, 2018 Only thing I can tell you is to try and focus on big adult things and put your littlespace to the back of your head, try to ignore how it feels. If your feeling stressed and overwhelmed flow with that stress and cope as an adult and maybe don't think about your happy place. Also perhaps trying to pinpoint why your control is suddenly slipping may be helpful, is there something going on in your life that's upsetting you, have you been ignoring your mental well being, and so forth.
LittleKitten13 Posted March 21, 2018 Report Posted March 21, 2018 I don't typically have an issue with being big when it's absolutely necessary. I am a paraprofessional at an elementary school, and for the younger kids especially I'm typically able to stay big, OR only be little to a point where I'm more playful, rather than really little where I need Papa. Other times it's pretty much okay for me to get a little bit little.
Guest SUeB Posted March 21, 2018 Report Posted March 21, 2018 No, never. With three kids, a house and a business to run, there is never any difficulty being an adult.
Guest Arc Posted March 21, 2018 Report Posted March 21, 2018 You're an adult. Sometimes you have to suck it up and be one even when more fun things are tempting you.
