NekoNessie Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 Daddy recently brought me to build a bear but I only picked out one outfit because they're all so expensive! I looked for patterns but had no luck if nobody knows of any I'll probably get my mum to help me make one..but I wanna make all kinds of outfits for my new bunny!
Guest Sae Posted July 1, 2015 Report Posted July 1, 2015 You should check out some of your local second hand shops. One of mine well sell used build a bear clothes in a little baggie with a bunch of about 4 dollars. And if you don't have that. Bring your bun second hand shopping and go to the baby section. You can pick up some really cute baby outfits there. And if your mum can help you sewing she probably could help you take that stuff in too. :3
manicpixidream Posted July 5, 2015 Report Posted July 5, 2015 another fairly simple way to start making base clothes would be to just measure the pieces that make up the clothes you did buy. like the dimensions of the front of the shirt and the sleeves if its a shirt or just each piece you can see in general and add a couple centimeters to an inch. or even just the circumference of the limbs/torso of your stuffy and adding some flex room. 1
NekoNessie Posted July 8, 2015 Author Report Posted July 8, 2015 That would work but then I'd have a bunch of dresses which is nice but ideally I want a buncha different clothing types. So I can dress her to compliment what I'm wearing :3
Guest Strawberry Posted July 9, 2015 Report Posted July 9, 2015 Maybe try looking at patterms for dolls that are about the same size? Like American Girl Doll clothing I think is about the same size??
