peschessin Posted March 1, 2018 Report Posted March 1, 2018 Hey guys! I'm really new to this type of thing, and I'm looking to get into little space, but I never seem to have free time. I still live with my parents, and I would feel too embarrassed to explain it all to them and do it in from of them. Since it would be my first time getting into little space, I would like an extended amount of alone time, but knowing that the others are in the house and could call me downstairs at anytime, or come to my room, makes me very stressed out. I can't really see myself getting into little space with this added stress of potential risk [of being caught], and I don't know how to say to my parents I want to be left alone in the house for a while. Like, what am I supposed to say, 'hey I know we go every where as a family, but I want just a few hours of alone time in the house? Totally alone? Like, just me?'. Like, imagine how suspicious that would be! I have a basic idea of how a lot of littles get into the head space, but barely any clue of how I could get into mine. I've always been attached to my stuffed animals, so my stuffies definitely have to be apart of this. I feel playing with toys would help me, and maybe watching shows I watched as kid, like MLP? Does anybody have advice as to my current predicament, and how to get into the head space? And how do I really know when I've gotten into little space? What does it normally feel like for you guys? Any advice would help! Thanks for reading this <3
cherrylipgloss Posted March 1, 2018 Report Posted March 1, 2018 What I usually do when I’m around family and in little space, I watch shows like Strawberry Shortcake, Monster High, etc and I carry my stuffy with me or I color in my coloring book while drinking little juice boxes. People just sees it as cute or adorable. There’s many ways to be in little space privately while around others. Also, every little has a different way to get into their headspace. Try experimenting and see what gets you there!
littlefemmenist Posted March 1, 2018 Report Posted March 1, 2018 (edited) i'm not quite sure what to say, since even though i live at home my parents are often gone and they give me my privacy. but some things that i do in my room are: watching cartoons/kids shows and movies (netflix kids, kisscartoon/kissanime, youtube) color, either in coloring books or online (the colorfy app for phone/tablet is great too!) suck my paci (easy to tuck under covers should someone forget to knock) read fairytales/picture books or ageplay novels, depending on how sexual you feel as a little snuggle with stuffies and/or make up stories with them play with play-doh/gak/putty play online doll dress-ups play neopets/webkinz write/draw with crayons (something about the smell and difficulty make me feel so little!) brush your hair/braid it/put it in pigtails/wear ribbons that's all i got for now, but as cherry said, it's different for everyone and it takes some experimenting. good luck Edited March 1, 2018 by littlefemmenist
