Advice regarding little still in contact with ex daddy

My Daddy is fully aware that I’m in contact with my ex CG as friends - my ex CG has moved on to seek others as potential partners as well. That being said, both are aware of my commitment towards my Daddy and he has no issues with my friendships. However, my ex CG and I were never in a sexual relationship, hence it might have some bearings as to why it’s easier to maintain a friendship?

Her ex has set a rule that she use an app that destroys messages?  I am confused.  The way I'm reading this it's like me quitting my McDonald's job, going to work for Burger King and explaining to the manager that the reason I'm wearing a McDonald's uniform is because my last boss told me I couldn't come to work without wearing it.  When I quit with McDonalds, the rules no longer applied.  If she was okay with her Daddy telling her what she needed to do with her messages (i.e. destroy them) then it is hypocritical to call foul if the OP wants her to save them.

But underlying all of this - if your little needs closure (or you for that matter) then the time to get that closure is before you enter into another relationship.  Close one door before opening another.  The only possible exception to this that I can see is if the relationship is based on getting laid with this Ddlg kink fueling it.  I wouldn't call that a relationship but to each their own.

I still email with my ex Daddy everyday(it was a platonic relationship anyway, he was married. he's still one of my bestest friends) and I just broke up with my last Daddy the day before last and we've decided to just be friends and we've been texting as normal. If there doesn't seem to be anything more happening than just being friends, then there's no problem; if there was more than that, I can't imagine she could hide it for forever.
