creepers at munches?

Hi everybody! I wanted to bring up this subject lately because I was thinking about the last munch I was at. 

 

At the last munch I was at, there were some people that were giving off a creepy vibe; like a Free Candy van vibe. I try not to judge anyone without having evidence or enough interactions with said person, so these were just my initial feelings.

 

Has anyone else had this vibe at a munch before? Or felt uncomfortable? I'm very interested to know! I feel like I'm the only one here. I'm not here to judge anyone

Hey, we can't all be beautiful, sociable or confident    it's nice to say you're not trying to judge people, buuut you kind of are    To answer your question, I see creepy people everywhere. They're normally the normal-looking ones.

 

Elsewhere in the forums: "Has anyone been at a munch, innocently minding your own business, and had people staring at you for no reason like they want all your free candy or something?"

*shrugs* I'm being honest, that's all. I was wondering about the perspective of others in my position. I suppose I could have worded it better tho lol

I assume that you are probably talking about me. But to answer your question, no, I did not have that feeling before. Except maybe few times. I would totally accept that free candy however. I mean, I hate sugar, but... it's free!!!

definitely creepy people there and i try to avoid them, i don't like going to munches alone what so ever i always atleast take a friend with me

We have a small munch group where I am so I feel this a lot of the time because we talk as a group and I can't escape/avoid them. :/ After one munch a person I found creepy tried to hug me and I said no, then they followed me to my car and grabbed me and tried to kiss me. So I now try follow my instincts on people. If I feel uncomfortable with them, even if I have no reason, I listen to myself and keep myself comfortable and safe.

If anyone!!!! At a munch!!!! Gives you bad vibes!!!!!! Or does creepy shit to you!!!!! Tell whoever!!!! is in charge of the munch!!!!!

 

Hopefully, if they're a good host, they will not tolerate having those types of people at their munches any more.

Yes i have noticed that too. It feels like they heard about a gathering of kinky folk, and wanted to stand in the corner, looking at us with their hands down their pants. Like we belong in some kind of perverted aquarium. Not even talking about play events, or anything like that. Just the social ones where we are in a purely innocent venue and dress code.
