difference and hate

Anyone know the difference between DDLG and age Regression and why age regessers hate ddlg? Ive seen alot of hate on tumblr and was wondering why people hate on ddlg so much :/

Age regression can be used as a way to cope with trauma or stress etc. DDLG is a type of BDSM relationship. Age regressers don't like to be confused with the DDLG community because they don't want their safe place to become a sexual/scary thing.

Tumblr is an incredibly negative community. I wouldn't take what you see too seriously.

Tumblr only represents Tumblr. Not the whole ddlg/age regression community.

My little space is also non sexual.  The thought of my little space being turned into something sexual is terrifying to me....

For a lot of ppl DD/lg is sexual and there are many ppl who do have a sexual littlespace. DD/lg and the age regressors or ageplayers are different communities (tho they can blend at times) but in the end they are different, so I guess that is why some of them want no association to DD/lg. They may not want to see the sexual things or the power exchange that comes with DD/lg. As for the hate....I see no reason for it but ignorance and misunderstandings often breeds hate for sure, like how some ppl see DD/lg as pedophilia etc so ofc they would hate it

The thing about the Age Regression community on tumblr is that they are all convinced that ddlg HAS to involve sex and HAS to involve some kind of pedophilia. No matter how much the ddlg community tries to convince them otherwise, the age regressors are always "right" and the ddlg community is always "wrong"

and the ddlg community does the opposite and we're always right and they're always wrong

it's always the same when 2 communities interact with each other
