Little_Rissy Posted February 11, 2018 Report Posted February 11, 2018 Lately I've been feeling insecure in my relationship. It's complicated and I'm naturally insecure anyways. But my Daddy is a good Daddy, he tries his best to make me happy. He does everything he can to make sure I feel loved and cared for. But I'm still a mess of insecurites. And any self soothing thing I try no longer helps. I feel all alone when I little.
LittleKitten13 Posted February 12, 2018 Report Posted February 12, 2018 I just push on through it. It's super hard. I tend to get really clingy with papa, and thankfully, he's very understanding. Just ride it out and know that while this is miserable now, it won't last forever <3
XmochiX Posted February 12, 2018 Report Posted February 12, 2018 I came up with a new rule and daily goal for myself that will hopefully help me when I am feeling insecure. I decided that I am going to write one kind, positive thing about myself every day in my journal in order to help me become more confident and just overall a better person. Whenever I get sad or feel insecure, I can look back on those pages in my journal and know that they're true because I am the one who wrote them. 1
Guest Looby-Lou Posted February 14, 2018 Report Posted February 14, 2018 It's really tough. I get insecure all the time! Sometimes I just have to cry and let it pass - and remind myself not to make big decisions when I'm feeling so vulnerable. I try to take my mind off my worries, push ahead with something that I have confidence in - whatever you DO believe you're good at...make a cake, draw a picture, help a friend, complete a chore that will make you proud of yourself, or just say something nice to someone and brighten their day Anything that reminds you that you're a lovely person and there's more to you than your insecurities.
LittleGoddess Posted February 14, 2018 Report Posted February 14, 2018 A long, drawn out hug from someone you love will give you peace of mind and a happy heart. Cuddle up under a blanket and watch a favorite movie. Puppies and kittens. A warm mug of milk or cocoa. Chamomile tea. Make a list of all of the things in your life for which you are grateful. Bailey's Irish Cream over chocolate or vanilla ice cream. Aerobic exercise and stretches. Sit on a bouncy ball and bounce. Sometimes a good scream helps, but make sure the neighbors don't freak out.
