Wearing kink animal, Pokémon, or even crop tops, should it be allowed or is there a set of rules

This is kinda something I've been wondering. Idk if I am the only one, but I love to wear my cat or eevee ears, or even little gear sometimes outside, is that bad? Anyone want to give me some advice, plus I want to wear crop tops in the summer for body positivity Edited January 31, 2018 by Teddy Bear

You're definitely not the only one. I used to know someone who would always wear a collar and ears whenever possible. I'd wear gear if I had any! I always have a pair of socks with something cute on to be little discreetly. I'm not so great with body positivity advice, but I say just go for it if you feel ready!

I don't wear collars or obvious BDSM stuff in public.

 

But I think cat ears are okay. Especially with all the headband ones they have out these days.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. But I also live in an area where people express themselves more through clothes and accessories so no one would look twice. I used to wear kitty ears for work and on my way to work if I stopped for liquor or cigarettes I might get asked about it. There was a clerk that asked me after a while "Are you just always a kitty or something?" And I just smiled.

There is nothing wrong with wearing little gear or any kink based gear outside as long as it's in a safe and reasonable environment (like not work or something like that) and as long as u are comfortable with it, then all is good. I know things like wearing collars/chokers outside is so mainstream nowadays.

No one should care if you wear crop tops and even if they did you deserve to wear what makes you happy. I typically wear bows in my hair and bring a small stuffie in my purse when I go out in pubic. I used to bring my peppa pig lunchbox with me to work (I worked in retail so it wasn't a super formal work environment) and no one said anything so I don't think anyone cares as long as it's not too over the top?

My general rule is that if it's going to make the majority of people uncomfortable then I won't do it. For example, walking down the street on a leash wearing very little clothing would make some people uncomfortable, so I won't do it because I don't want to force my kinks onto people. But wearing kitty ears is a reasonably common fashion accessory, and crop tops are just a piece of clothing. I'd say you'd be fine with those

It's not like you're going outside in nothing but a onesie. If you have a cute shirt that just so happens to be little gear, then go ahead and wear it. Be yourself and do what you love.

I have no idea why crop tops are even included in this list when thats pretty much what 50% of girls wear in the summer

Thanks for the advice everyone, sorry if my above question had confused anyone, I was very exhausted and had more questions than I should have, but thanks for sharing your advice. Today I had worn my more modern cat ears and no one really seemed to mind, although the snow and cold air had me super mad, I felt happier wearing them
