BabySuzie Posted January 27, 2018 Report Posted January 27, 2018 Just wondering if there are any other Littles out there that have trouble sleeping, or can't sleep without something? Be it a stuffie, blankie, Daddy, etc
princessjjd Posted January 27, 2018 Report Posted January 27, 2018 Yeeeesssss!!!! Me me me me. First off, I always have trouble sleeping. But I especially do if I haven't heard from my daddy before I sleep. We're LDR, so I need to talk to him before I sleep. Tonight was one of those instances where I didn't hear from him :/
BabySuzie Posted January 27, 2018 Author Report Posted January 27, 2018 For me I need Daddy snuggles (or to tuck me in) and an army of stuffies andy Totoro pillow but some nights I'd doesn't work. Then Daddy has a cranky little on his hands XD
meows kohai Posted January 27, 2018 Report Posted January 27, 2018 I've had issues with insomnia since childhood, very few things have helped so I pm just down some nyquil/zzquil and smoke a bowl in attempt to get some sleep. I have teenage cats right now though, and that's definitely not helping.
Guest ☽ ᴍᴏɴᴏᴄᴇʀᴏs ☾ Posted January 27, 2018 Report Posted January 27, 2018 I have insomnia problems since I was in school. Sometimes there are periods where I can sleep peacefully, and sometimes I'm awake until 6 in the morning. I do not have CG so there is really no one who can help me control it. I plan to go to the doctor next month because in March I will start my classes. What I do is keep busy to exhaust myself, sometimes I read, watch a series or even do a little exercise.
littlekittygoesmew97 Posted February 5, 2018 Report Posted February 5, 2018 Oh gosh yes! I've had issues with it since I was a preteen. What makes it worse, is the fact that I'm a night owl and I like to stay up to the wee hours of the morning. I either get too much sleep or not enough, or no sleep. It's always a constant fluctuation in my sleep schedule, and it messes me up a lot.
XmochiX Posted February 5, 2018 Report Posted February 5, 2018 Yes, I have anxiety-induced insomnia and have stayed up for as long as 3 weeks (with micro naps). I cannot sleep without antianxiety meds or sleeping pills.

I cannot sleep without antianxiety meds or sleeping pills. OMG are you me!?!?! I also have very bad anxiety and unless I take both an antianxiety med AND sleeping pills each night, I WILL NOT sleep no matter how hard I try or how much I want to. I get you so much.
xpaciprincesss Posted February 6, 2018 Report Posted February 6, 2018 I’ve always dealt with insomnia. When I was a kid my parents had the hardest time trying to get me to sleep. My sleeping schedule is messed up. An ex-bf/Caregiver tried to help me with rules and a bed time, but I simply couldn’t and ended up feeling worse. Daddy now helps me big time. As it’s probably related to anxiety/BPD, he always makes sure that I get to sleep before him. He reads me bedtime stories because his voice calms me, sometimes even more than one, even when I’m already asleep just in case I wake up, even when I’m acting bratty and moody bc not sleeping does that to me. If we are spending the night together he also cuddles me with my stuffies to make me feel comfortable. I swear he is the most caring and PATIENT guy I’ve ever met. 1
Strawberry Sprinkles Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 I have insomina. It depends on the day what I "need" to rest. Routine set ups usually help - I sleep with the same plushies and blanket every night. If I'm missing one of them, I can't sleep. Listening to my partner talk in his soft, low voice helps the most as it usually makes my brain a tad bit foggy so less thoughts are circling my head. If he's away, or if I'm especially fussy, he's recorded a bedtime story for me to listen to (we're LDR).
kittyboo Posted February 18, 2018 Report Posted February 18, 2018 Some nights I can be up until like 6am for absolutely no reason. Then I might wake up at 10am or wake up at 4pm. I've been like this for like 12 years and luckily it kinda comes in phases so not all the time. I have been known to be in the bath at 4am to relax and be going to bed when everyone else is getting up. I do have anxiety issues in general although I'm not always conscious of being anxious when I can't sleep so idk.
littlefemmenist Posted February 19, 2018 Report Posted February 19, 2018 i would probably sleep a lot better if i took my sleeping pills (anxiety and depression here too, holla) but i'm so bad at remembering them...
Buttercupcake Posted February 20, 2018 Report Posted February 20, 2018 I'm a major insomniac! It's only 3:44 a.m. and I've been up all night! I rarely sleep though lol more time to be a widddllee
