Does anyone else ever wanted to be branded? What would you want branded on you?

We have discussed it, but He is concerned about possibility of infection etc. He thinks a tattoo would be better for me. Safer.

When I find my little thst I know is THE ONE, I will have her branded with a tattoo. A Celtic crescent moon, which has my initials as it’s border.

Yes, but I've never mentioned it to my Daddy. He'd probably choose a small flower tattoo and put it somewhere private. I don't think it'll happen though, knowing how he works/what he's good with. I also view taking his last name in the same light.

I have 0 tattoos cuz I hate needles lol, so I know I couldn't handle being branded. My biggest issue with it is that nothing lasts forever. Not even marriage anymore. Things happen. Ppl change. Circumstance change. As much as I would love to believe in 'together forever' I simply do not, there is always a chance for something to change. It happens to ppl all the time, so I think it can't be said that 'we will for sure never desire to part'. So with that said, I would hate a permanent reminder of that person on my body, even worst because at least with a tat it can be covered up. I don't think u can cover up being branded.

I have a tattoo. Brands are nice but can change over time as they heal, and they're not as clean and nice as tattoos. 

 

Because it is a very permanent thing, and relationships aren't always a permanent thing, it was made to have more than one meaning so I'll never dislike it. My Daddy and I spent our first day together beneath a pine tree at the park, so I have a small flower bouquet tattooed with my favourite flowers and a pine tree leaf. It's a small part of the tattoo, but it means a lot to me.  

 

Daddy and I are best friends and even if our relationship ends I hope he will always be my friend. He's helped me a lot and taught me so much and we're very close. Even if we drift apart I'll be happy to have a permanent reminder of all the good times and how much he's done for me.

Um, if I wouldn't tattoo someone's name or initials on me, there is NO WAY I'd allow someone to brand me. I mean, what if we broke up afterwards???
