Hiyee! Today I was feeling very yucky (I have endometriosis) and was in bed with my teddy and Daddy. My old security blanket was right next to my bed and I got it out and cuddled it and it comforted me so much. I am going to keep using it. I had put it away when I went to college. But I am so happy to have it again!

So, who else has a special blankie?

I don't think I have my old blanky from when I was a baby but I still have a stuffie that I got when I was like 1. I will cuddle him if I am feeling down.

Hiiiii, I’m a middle but also have a special blankie.

Daddy bought it for me two Christmas’s ago and it’s the exact same print as Usagi in sailor moon.

I love it to bits and snuggle it every night.

Once I spilt coffee all over it and thought it was stained and ruined.

Thankfully Daddy soaked it and it all came out :)

How nice, everyone! Btw, my great grandmother crocheted it for me!

Endometriosis is awful - I have it too, so I understand. >< Have you tried TENS units? I find they help me the most of everything I've tried, and even when I feel icky I'm at least able to get up and do things and not spend the day throwing up. It takes away enough pain for me to be able to get on with the day. :p

I have a blankie. It's a huge really soft one that's so nice to touch. The weight of it makes me feel really secure.

Thank you for the info about the TENS unit. WE have one so I will try it! Do you put the pads on your abdomen or is it for legs or back? And how long do you do it for?

Your blankie sounds heavenly:)

Honestly, my TENS is my life saver. Without it I struggle to get out of bed and go to class and whatever else I need to. I always have had smaller pocket sized ones so I can wear them around, but I recently invested in a wireless one so I don't have to deal with the cables.

Different placements work for different people. I had to give it a few goes before I found what worked best for me. I found this online though, and it's got some good examples on what to try. :)http://dosomethingprettywhileyoucan.tumblr.com/post/146230982740/tens-electrode-placements-for-endometriosis

I normally just keep going until I'm comfortable, turn it off, and then back on whenever I need. It's hard to find how long you're supposed to use them for because everywhere says different things. I've seen some say no more than 15 minutes each time, and some say 30 minutes 3-4 times a day. You'll have to look into that or see what works for you :)

For me, a security blanket is a much, especially when I'm having a really bad depression, or dissociation day where I don't really get out of bed. I have about 4 blankets on my bed with me at all times lol

I personally love to hide in them and just cling on to them for dear life and support. It helps so much!  ^_^

I've never been a stuffed animal girl, even when I was younger they only took up space on my bookshelf... I am however a blankie girl and have been every since I was a baby! I sleep with him every night and even place him on top of my pillow so it can be extra soft! He's all white with blue, red, and yellow bears on one side and alphabet blocks on the other side. I also has a blue one when I was younger but that only lasted me till I was 7-8. Ive had this second one now and I'm 18!

I was recently gifted my first-ever blankie by someone super special to me, right before she moved a few thousand miles away. I sleep with it EVERY night - and my mommy/fiancee appreciate having it nearby too 'cos it smells like me now. XD

Me have blankie! Well, technically it's a baby towel but it has a baby elephant and baby duck on it and says 'best friends' so when my little sis grew out of it I adopted it as my blankie lolz >-<
