Furry In Questioning?

This one is more for you pets out there. While I know that being a pet and being a furry are two different things, I sometimes wonder if I might be both.

 

Have any of you had similar thoughts? If so, did you do anything about it?

I am a pet, a kitten to be exact. But I really do not understand what the furry is about.

WELL... I have done some cosplay in the past and I love being in character. And I have thought about getting a mascot outfit just for fun (I have NO Interest in kinky time in it...) I like the idea of just sitting around in it and maybe hugging a special sometime whilst she enjoys her Little Time.
I've made friends with some furries and talked "shop" with them. Most of them are great people!

 

But I do not really identify as an animal/otherkin as most Furries do. I just call/act like a panda for the giggle.

So yes... Thought about it.

I understand the thought, I'm more sure of being a furry rather than a pet, but I'm still figuring things out myself, but yes, I believe you can be both.

I think furries are one of those things where it's whatever you make of it. There's no set definition because it's different for everyone. If you feel like one and identify as one, then you are. 

 

I don't identify as a pet, but I do have a pet side. I don't know much about furries, but yes you can be both at the same time. Nobody is ever just one thing. I've never met someone who fits perfectly under a single title. I'm a sub primarily, a masochist, a middle, and I also have little and pet tendencies. I have an interest in latex, dollification, and objectification. I wear suits and masks to become a "rubber doll," and with that I have a different persona. I guess that's the closest thing I have to being able to relate to the furry thing - I have something that I put on and another side of me comes out. 

 

Look into what a furry can be. Talk to other furries - Fetlife is a great place to join groups on specific topics and talk to people about it. If it feels right to you, then go at your own pace and discover what being a furry is to you and embrace whatever that is.

Thanks guys! I didn't think I'd actually get any responses.. Anyway, I know a couple of furries, and I think I kinda fit into that community, I'm just not sure. But yeah, thanks for the advice! I'll definitely look into it more.
