Winter's Child Posted January 7, 2018 Report Posted January 7, 2018 Hi all! I wanted to know if any littles here suffer from any mental health problems, such as what I have (anxiety, depression, psychosis). I also wanted to know how you deal with this in a relationship, or even in everyday life. Thanks!!
Guest LittleNess Posted January 7, 2018 Report Posted January 7, 2018 I suffer from autism, anxiety, depression and sensory intergration disorder. Usually i choose to not let them get the best of me, and try and handle them at my own pace instead of getting anyone involved. I haven't had a relationship yet but this is my opinion on the matter 1
Guest CuddlyPenguin Posted January 7, 2018 Report Posted January 7, 2018 There are sooo many posts on this! I would suggest looking at some of them as well (just search mental health, anxiety, depression, etc. in the search bar), but no you are not alone! We are all here fighting with you! I suffer from many things as well but always remember they do not define you or any of your relationships. You are more than an illness I hope you find some help searching through some of the old posts if you ever have any questions or need a friend feel free to message me! & remember you can’t make a difference if you are not different! ❤️ 1
pixelpixzie Posted January 7, 2018 Report Posted January 7, 2018 I had BPD when I was younger, it lessened as I aged; I currently have Agoraphobia (fear of leaving my house), anxiety & depression, and some ptsd symptoms from childhood molestation. Meditation and mindfulness is a great way to treat all these things.
Guest beep boop Posted January 7, 2018 Report Posted January 7, 2018 Hi! I've been diagnosed with ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and panic disorder. I take medications for ADHD and the autism symptoms, which makes me feel less skiddish and panicked overall 1
daddysbabyharley Posted January 7, 2018 Report Posted January 7, 2018 I'm a little who suffers from bipolar, PTSD and severe anxiety issues. I choose not to medicate so my coping strategies will probably be different than most. I journal, a lot. I have found that journaling helps bring everything that my mind is going through to prespective. It's a way to get feelings out and not be judged or feel wrong for them. I also have a terrific Daddy who understands my mental health issues and has learned how to help me cope and handle them. (After 16 years of being together he should have by now lol). I have actually found though that slipping into "little space" helps with my anxiety. It allows me to forget about "big world" problems and only worry about what cartoon to watch or what snack to have. That's not saying that the stress of the big world isn't there for me when I come back out but it tends to be a little easier to handle. I think all my mind needs is a break sometimes. Find what works for you and give your mind a break 1
