I'm suuuuper sick! Can't speak, runny nose, achey 'n' shakey, sicky 'n' icky. What are your favourite things to do with or without Daddy when you feel so darn yucky and can't move? :0

I'm sick too x.x

I just spend a lot of time on my phone and watch movies. I migrate to the couch with my pillows and blankets and camp out until Daddy gets out of work. He'll help me get dinner and get ready for bed - then it's rinse and repeat until I'm better.

I’m not sick, but I’m cutting out paper dolls right now, that might be something you could do, play with paper dolls, there are all kinds of dolls and fashions online you can print

I build a pillow/blanket fort and camp out with books, video games and snacks. Healthy snacks! Like cucumber slices, and crackers with cheese. And I drink lots of water.

Oh noooo!! Lets be sick buddies and conquer all the nasty germs >:D That sounds like such a lovely combination of things to do, especially cause repitition of events means noooo room for more bad germs to enter, hehe.

Dose myself up on cold/flu capsules and those horrid hot lemon drinks, and just carry on. Got a job and three kids. Not able to lay around feeling sorry for myself. If it was actually proper flu, i would probably take a few days off work, but i would still have the kids and house to deal with.

I watch a lot of Netflix heh :p and also I do small activities like colouring and things to take my mind off my sickness :)

If I'm really sick and Daddy won't let me do anything, then I usually just lay in bed and sleep. I like calling Daddy when I'm sick like that because his voice calms me down. I also like getting a little breakfast in bed table thingy and putting my laptop on it so I can watch cartoons and movies :D And I hug my teddies and read a book if I feel up to it.

My Daddy doesn't really cook, so during the last 3-4 weeks of having the flu + chest infection + sinus infection I mostly had cup noodles.

The steam and salt water helped a lot- plus salt was basically the only anything I could taste (and still kinda is, cuz I'm still sickies lol)

They're also kinda nice to cozy up and nom.

Toasted sammiches also helped cuz the scratchiness on my throat was weirdly soothing. c.c

I watched a lot of stuff online and slept a lot. Hopefully you're not that level of floored though.

  • Colouring
  • Drawing
  • Reading stories (dimming screens helped if using a device)
  • Listening to audiobooks
  • Hot showers, or baths with bathtoys (not meaning the naughty kind xP)
  • Simple Puzzles
  • Phone games
  • Try not to die lol

When my Daddy was home from work I'd ask him to come lay on the bed and surrender his time to giving me back rubs, especially between the shoulder blades because it hurt like F from all the coughing. And he'd comfort me while we watched stuff together until I'd fall asleep in a snotty wheezy feverish mess.

Good luck. Hope you get better soon.

Toootally, understandably! My flu completely paralyzed me, I've been sick all week so I've not just been a lazy bum or anything. You're my hero for powering through!

Hehe that's a great idea, do you have any favourite shows? And that's great, distractions are sooo helpful!!

Mmm that sounds like a smart dady not wanting to tire you out, but I know that it can be just sooo boring sometimes! I'm happy your daddy can calm you down even if you're sick. I'll have to get one of those breakfast thingies sometime and just laze about to heal! Hehe. Thank you for the advice!

Oh my gosh cup soup is the besssst soup, and SAME, salt is like the only thing my silly mouth can actually feel! Bleh! Do you make grilled cheeses? Cause thoe are the best sammiches. :0

Thank you so much for the amazing suggestions, that's such a perfect list to follow! I've been bed ridden for awhile now so these are all perfect.   It's been going on for a week so far but I'm slowly getting less crummy.  :D I hope you are feeling better too now, you deserve it! Being sick is nooooo fun.

Uhmmm I'm sick now just sore throat, some body chills, and nausea but nothing bad. I like sucking on lozenges and my binky. I drink lots of water too. I'm making vegan chicken noodle soup now and when my Daddy gets home we will probably smoke some weed and cuddle and he will generally take over getting me water and food. It's my day off tomorrow so I'm just going to enjoy being babied

Once a year after Thanksgiving I use the turkey carcass to make stock and freeze it. I love heating it up and maybe cooking some plan rice in it. I also drink hot tea. If I have a sore throat I suck on marshmallows and eat teaspoons of honey for that and coughs. I find some cartoons to watch and snuggle up with my blankies, teddy bear, and my kitties. All four of them! And take whatever meds I need for congestion, aches, and pains. I really don't ever feel like doing any activity when I'm sick. I pretty much just sleep.
