New Year's Revolutions!

Before everyone starts correcting my spelling, I don't mean resolutions. We do those every year. We plan them in advance. We work out the details. We are determined to do each and every one. This year. Yes, THIS year our resolutions will ALL happen. We are resolved.

Summer arrives and most of us don't even remember what our resolutions were. There are some of us who succeed. You should be commended. Resolutions are hard. Some last months, some only weeks. There are those that don't even survive New Year's Day. We will even decide that New Year's Day doesn't count, so our resolution starts the day after. It doesn't happen. And our resolved is dissolved.

It is time to change. Forget resolutions. It's time for revolutions! Take control. Make a change. Don't sit back and wait for it to happen, bleakly looking at this chore that you have committed to and really not wanting to do. Get excited! Get angry if you have to! F* the status quo. You aren't going to take it any more. Start your own personal revolution! Start as many revolutions as you want or need. Make the change you want for you and let no one or no thing hold you back. Be aggressive! Be assertive! Make it happen! For you littles, grab your stuffie army and charge! This is your year, each and every one of you. Start your revolutions and make this year everything you want it to be. It won't be easy. There will be obstacles. There will be times you will want to stop. But, you won't. You are strong. You can do it. The revolutions will go on.

Viva la revolucion! Vive le revolution! Long live the revolution!

Happy New Year!

The concept of resolutions on Jan 1st makes me laugh. If i need to change something, i do it when i realise it needs to be changed.

I never do NY resolutions because I don't believe in only trying to better or change something about yourself because of some dumb event.

However I'll make an exception.

My new years resolution is to be nicer on threads or posts that don't mesh with my feels or that I have trouble viewing as middling.

The struggle is real though. Be aggressive, be assertive? I'm aggressively trying to be more assertive by acknowledging it's

anti-social and mean to dissect or provide a counter opinion on some topics, and that I possibly have a permanent bee in my bonnet.

It's going to be my hardest task and biggest hurdle, but so help me I will try my balls off starting now.

I always believed if you need a new year to start helping yourself, you're not doing your 'Self' right. Except gym memberships, and thats just because they are hella cheap this time of year. Other than that, the self help and improvement should be year 'round, but I digress.

My 'New Year Resolutions' actually start at the end of the month. But there is something so damn satisfying starting a brand new adventure at the beginning of the year. My revolution is for happiness. I've been making moves for this since I came back to the states in July and now I am seeing the fruit of my labor. It just so happens that I would be starting this self-proclamation at the beginning of the year. So I guess I am partly on board with the 'New year, new Me' bandwagon. If only because of circumstance.

My revolution this year is self-awareness and acceptance. I am going to be as open about who I am as I possibly (and professionally) can. I want people to know I am a different kind of person, even if they don't know I am a little and pet. I want them to understand there is something there and I want them to see the exchange with me and my Daddy. In all honesty, this is the year I want to 'come out' as who I really am after closeting it for a so long. I will be open with the new friends that I make, and I will confess to those friends that I have. I want to be the little I am 24/7 and to do that, I can't hide it from everyone. And most importantly, I don't want to hide it anymore. People don't need to know intimate details, but I want to be able to act little whenever the mood strikes.

THAT revolution may kick me in the ass, but I feel it is a way for me to be truly happy. And so I will endure. And with Daddy's help I may just sincerely start this 'New Me' year out right.

Time will only tell.

I’m just gonna keep fixing myself. At the beginning of 2017 I was incredibly toxic. I was racist, sexist, and a troll. I took all the negativity in my life and I just couldn’t handle it so I used it for hate fuel.

I’m also gonna look for a partner or partner(s).

I’m going to seriously tackle my writing. I am going to be an author. I can’t find work so I will create it. I’m done letting life happen to me and being forced (albeit through weird and unfortunate circumstances) to life with my parents. I’ve tried to go the traditional route to be independent and I simply can’t, not without getting surgery :/ and who can afford that on a budget of zero XD

Most importantly I’m gonna try and being light to the world. It can’t fix my past stupidity but if it helps someone else, HUZZAH

You are my favorite kind of person. The type of person who can openly admit they have flaws, and not just admit, but work on them. I never would've guess you were what you mentioned, never in a million years. Good on you, you should be so proud! You are such a sweet and carefree person!

You, obviously, make things happen in your life. I can't wait to see what happiness you bring yourself! Ahhhh  I'm excited for you! ^_^

HUZZAH!
