Ddlg brand new need mentoring for my dom?

Me and my boyfriend are getting into the bdsm and ddlg stuff and I'm really into it but he's having a hard time getting used to it..we are looking for advice and maybe even ideas on places we could find a mentor for him, someone he can ask questions to and get advice from one on one and maybe even for me as his little. Also we don't call eachother daddy and little or anything, but we want nicknames...any ideas?

Forget looking for a mentor. All anyone can ever "teach" him is how THEY do things or see things. Nobody is ever an expert at anything other than their own opinion on how things should work.

Research things together, look at articles etc. Sure, get other peoples opinions, but take them as just that.....opinions.

Couldn't agree more with SUeB. People will have all sorts of opinions regarding what Caregivers or littles should do or shouldn't do, and there are certainly lessons to be learned from the community at large but every relationship is different and comes with its own challenges.

 

You'll certainly get a range of responses to anything you bring to this community but in the end your dynamic/relationship is what the two of you make it... right down to what you call each other.

As for nicknames, I've seen a post on this forum called "other names for daddy" which have quite a lot of answers, as for nicknames for littles, you have the classics for toddlers and kids (sunshine, sweetie,..) but you can also make up your own based on what you like. For example, if you're fond of fairies, you may like being called "pixie" or "faery"

For the nicknames: babygirl, or I also call my daddy Drewdrew (like, find a nickname from his birth name)... as for the mentoring, as it’s been mentioned, my Dom told me it was a former experienced little ans reading lots and lots about him that were his ways of exploring and understanding the concepts of DDlg and Bdsm.
