I like the idea of diapers, and seeing some of the ones others use are so cute I'd really love to try it. I don't think I could actually go potty in it though, i just would wear them because they'd make me feel little :3 would a diaper even hold that much pee pee though? And, do the people who use them just buy pull-ups from the store for bigger kids? ^~^

Heya faerie, I'll do my best to answer your questions and if you have any more feel free to ask either here or in chat. Always more than happy to help.

It's totally okay to wear diapers without using them. ashwee wears them for medical reasons but I wear them too sometimes, usually at night, and I never use them. I just find it comforting. I actually don't sleep very well and have bad dreams when I don't wear them.

To answer your question about them holding pee, many of the adult brands hold a lot of pee. ashwee has a small bladder but some of the brands she uses (Abena M4, DC Amor, Bambino, Snuggies) she can wear for 12-14 hours before she needs me to change her. She wears Goodnites (Drynites for UK and Aussie peeps) sometimes but they only last an hour or two. Also her incontinence means she only goes in very small amounts at a time. I don't know how well the Goodnites/Drynites would work if you pee normally.

As far as what to buy, I see you're in Australia so I did some research.

If you're fairly small you may be able to use Drynites. You can order a sample (for free I think?) from their Australian site. Be forewarned though the packaging won't be discreet and anyone seeing your mail will see them. For most adults unless you're super small you'll want to order the ones for 8-15 year olds. You can also find them in stores.

Then, there's the adult brands. Theres a bunch of cute printed adult brands you can buy. They can be pretty expensive. For us they end up actually being cheaper than some of the other options since ashwee can wear one a day instead of 5-7 of a cheaper diaper. If you're wearing them for fun though the cost can be a little daunting.

I have no experience with any of these sites, so I can't speak to how reliable they are. Maybe search for some reviews of people who have ordered from them if you're worried about ordering.

Snuggies Waddler, sold in 10 packs. Range from $2 per diaper to $2.30 per diaper depending on how many you order. Which isn't that bad, especially since they're imported from the US.

Fabine, range from $3.75 to $2.58 per diaper depending on if you buy a pack of 8 or case of 64. You can also buy a sample of two for $13.

Bambino, solid in packs of 8. Range from $4.00 to 4.25 per diaper depending on which ones you get.

Also, ashwee has pictures of her wearing goodnites and Snuggies if you want to get an idea of what they look like when someone is wearing them. ashwee is about 5'7" (170cm) to give you an idea of how big she is.

Hope that's of help, and again feel free to ask if you have any questions.

Wow thank you! I am only 5'3 and 100lbs, so I think I could go for the Drynights, since I am probably only going to be using them for the look :3 thank you, that helped a lot  :$
