curlyheadspace Posted December 15, 2017 Report Posted December 15, 2017 Hello there I am completely stressed and depressed because I have NO IDEA what can I give my Daddy for Christmas. I tried to find something related to his interests but everything just seems not good enough and like I haven't really thought this through. So I thought of something DDlg related... but don't know what! I plan on giving him t-shirt with word "Daddy" on it, but that's for his birthday in January. Now... now what can I give or make myself fir him? HELP PLEASE! I feel like a horrible girl.
curlyheadspace Posted December 15, 2017 Author Report Posted December 15, 2017 What are his interests? I World War, one Polish writer (Witkiewicz) and recently he practices drawing He has everything about I World War and even access to original stuff and military instructions from that time so "no" to this idea. He wanted a t-shirt with the writer but it's out of stock. And he practices drawing only for me and to draw me, so that's not his real interest for a long time.
Alaskan Daddy Posted December 15, 2017 Report Posted December 15, 2017 men are hard to shop for. What do you think of a gift card of his favorite store. To you it may sound impersonal but he will know it came from your heart.

Daddy's Meg Posted December 15, 2017 Report Posted December 15, 2017 He has a stomach right? Forget the store and make him his favorite meal, cookie, cake, what have you. 1
curlyheadspace Posted December 15, 2017 Author Report Posted December 15, 2017 He has a stomach right? Forget the store and make him his favorite meal, cookie, cake, what have you. He's on a diet... has a broken oven and is the one to do the cooking. I can't cook.
Wolfycheeks Posted December 15, 2017 Report Posted December 15, 2017 Haven't you made a topic about this before? I suggested some WW memorabilia before.. but since he already has it, It's hard to suggest stuff since you're on a budget, and we don't know the budget.. does he have any favourite movies? maybe a Funko pop from his favourite movies or series? Merchandise from stuff he likes? It doesn't have to be expensive. What about a custom army tag with 'Daddy' or '#1 Daddy' on it? Good luck finding a present!

I already bought him a fake Iron Cross from I WW (Daddy gave me the idea), but it's so little... I tried to buy him original Iron Cross but the price on auction got too high. My budget is 50 Polish zloty, which is like 14 US dollars.
curlyheadspace Posted December 15, 2017 Author Report Posted December 15, 2017 make him a coupon book :3 Yeah... but could you explain me the piont of it? I don't understand how this is nice.
DaBrat1994 Posted December 15, 2017 Report Posted December 15, 2017 its makeable you just have to put it together its simple an i think its nice but to each there own i guess.... i would think its nice to give you cg/bf/etc because you can decorate it to there tastes and you can put the coupon for a game name or a date night or a night out relaxing at a movie or cuddles or hugs :3
Princess Bunni Posted December 15, 2017 Report Posted December 15, 2017 I made my Daddy love coupons, some of the things you could put in are special little time with total subservience, a litttle date, a picnic, special RP time of what he wants, a full body massage etc. I also wrote 12 love letters, one to open every month 1

Wolfycheeks Posted December 15, 2017 Report Posted December 15, 2017 14 USD could buy you a nice WW pin, like one of the things they got on the uniforms. There's lots of pins with lots of different prices. And with some you get this cool vintage booklet aswell, it's very neat. My advice is to go to ebay.com and type in 'WW1 Pin' and enable free shipping and set the price to 15 USD, and you get lots of items from all over the world that aren't expensive at all. Like actual stuff he might not have yet haha. ^^ 1
DreamingDesire Posted December 15, 2017 Report Posted December 15, 2017 Love coupons? Either the gifts will not be as good as they happen randomly when he decides to cash in his coupon, or the gifts will be too minor to be worthy of putting on a coupon. It's done to death, and it's really just presenting standard parts of a relationship as an underwhelming gift. Don't do that. Go with something like what Wolfy said. 1
babygirl'xo Posted December 15, 2017 Report Posted December 15, 2017 Hey, this is nothing to depressed or even stressed about! You still have some time and I'm sure it will be sorted. It's okay that you don't have lots of money to spend. There are so many nice things you can get him or make him! Making something is always super cute and shows you put time and effort in it which will be appreciated! You could get some nice healthy cookbooks as he cooks and started a diet, frame a picture of you together that he could put up, you could get him some handy gadgets that are not too expensive like a portable charger or a headphone splitter and search for some other ones. In terms of making things as suggested you could make coupons or make a jar with 100 quotes (doesn't have to be 100) of what you love about your daddy or you memories you shared together that he can open throughout the year. I made this for my daddy and he absolutely loved it 1

That's what I think of the love coupons too! Every idea for coupons that I found are something that other person should get without asking (cashing in the coupon). Kiss, hug, backrub? Everything is a part of a relationship and should be done whenever the person wants or when we see that the person needs it. I am trying to make my gift something more creative and thought through. Thank you for your opinion.

I made my Daddy bracelets with alphabet beads that say "Daddy" and "Robert" (his name, obviously ). I gave him them a few months ago and he was so happy then. I'll think of everything you suggested. Thank you so much!

The bag price is a little over my budget. The art prints idea is quite good... well, thank you for that!
Guest Bunnyblossom Posted December 16, 2017 Report Posted December 16, 2017 Get some plain pillow cases and make a "Daddy" & "Princess/LG/Kitten (whatever his name for you is)" matching pillow set. You could use fabric markers, sharpies or transfer paper (if that's in budget, just be careful to follow the instructions perfectly). One year when I was completely broke, I drew over 100 kissy lips on some card paper and coloured them in and cut them out. Then put them in a small jar for him, so he'd have a jar full of kisses. And you can sneak them into his pockets, bag, socks, shoes- wherever. SURPRISE KISSES, ALL THE TIME! lol Make him a small book with a reason you love him or admire him per page with a little drawing- it doesn't have to be spectacular. I did that also, and read it to him from time to time when he's going through a rough patch just to remind him that he's awesome.
Guest Ignea Posted December 16, 2017 Report Posted December 16, 2017 i think the kiss jar is a excelent perfect idea .. i would love to get it myself if i was ever that lucky, i once got from a friend a personal "care package" a lil box containing my fav coffee or tea, a bag of snacks/sweets , and all kinds of lil stuff in it. Also . sometimes perfume stores have these small sample bottles for free might ad that aswell . so if youre creative you can do it and budgetwise its easy to pull off. Besides a personal touch means more then a "normal" gift , it comes from the heart.
