Guest The Phantom Posted December 10, 2017 Report Posted December 10, 2017 The sun cooks the concrete and the worm slowly dries up, but not before a mob of ants surround it and paralyze it with bites. They pile on the struggling worm, tearing it's soft flesh into pieces and feast. The worm had no chance at all. 1
Guest SUeB Posted December 10, 2017 Report Posted December 10, 2017 But if you stay on the same path, in the same environment, never stray.....you never see anything new, anything fresh. The food runs out and you die or become stagnant from lack of a varied source of nourishment.
Guest Urthurs Posted December 10, 2017 Report Posted December 10, 2017 And if it stayed in the grass the birds would eat it, or it would be impaled by a fish hook. Being a worm sucks.
LollyPoppy Posted December 18, 2017 Report Posted December 18, 2017 A mob of ants stray from the safety of the grass and wander onto the pavement... They catch a whiff of sizzling worm meat from the suns heat and march towards the smell in a single file line. They reach the worm and thank the stars that, maybe, now with this new source of nourishment they will have the strength to carry on. These starving ants got another chance after all.
