TheLittleLolita Posted January 15, 2024 Report Posted January 15, 2024 Do the numbers in each troop group actually mean something, do they not mean anything, or a mix or both? Patches cost a lot, but if someone did want to make a group in Charlotte NC and call it "Little Scout Troop 704" does 704 already exist, or not because the numbers are scrambled? 1

Since @pamperedpenny hasn't been online since 2015 it seems I thought I'd chime in - the number after the scout group is based on the telephone area code that is local to where the group is centered! So if you wanted a group in Charlotte, NC the # would be the local area code. It looks like there is one in Fayetteville? https://fetlife.com/groups/164820 1
bigkidagain Posted January 18, 2024 Report Posted January 18, 2024 Hi everyone I was in girl scouts when I was middle school. And a boys scout Den Mother when I was in my 30's. I love the old version of troop Beverly Hill. I was never a brownie but I always wanted to be connected to girls scouts again. I don't know Skype but I have discord I know you can set up different things on it. But I'm in for a online chapter. I just have to download Skype
LittlePupRune Posted January 19, 2024 Report Posted January 19, 2024 Sadly my local one dissolved, so I'd be interested in seeing an online one.
