Guest taryn of arendelle Posted March 2, 2015 Report Posted March 2, 2015 Hey Daddies/Mommies/Caregivers and littles, do you have a rewards system? I'm really curious to know how people keep track of theirs, if they do. For now Papa and I made a poster for my Princess Points based on three categories: rules, behavior and tasks. I'm also curious to know how your systems work. Like I said, mine is based on rules, behavior and tasks. I win half points for behavior and I actually don't know why Papa decided that. I should ask him. Rules are if I followed the rules that day. And tasks are if I completed the tasks Papa gives me to his satisfaction. 1
MrBearsKitten Posted March 2, 2015 Report Posted March 2, 2015 We don't have a rewards system. I have chores that I'm supposed to do and sometimes I get special chores that Mr asks me to complete before he gets home from work (right now, I don't work, but hopefully that'll change soon!)I also am not punished, however. If I don't complete a chore, it's likely because I was struggling that day and Mr won't punish me for that.I totally get why other people have a system in place, though! I like looking at other people's charts and such.
PrissyRiot Posted March 2, 2015 Report Posted March 2, 2015 We use to have a reward system based on household chores and stuff but not anymore but I do get special treats for being really good like ice cream before dinner!
Kitten Posted March 2, 2015 Report Posted March 2, 2015 I don't have a reward system, but Daddy and I are planning on using a sticker chart when we live together! I'd really like to use a point system with them, like one sticker = one point, and if I gather enough points at the end of the week, I can get some sort of small, inexpensive reward. Rewards could be things like going out for ice cream together, or a new plush. Daddy loves to spoil me and it's difficult for me to not feel guilty, so I think feeling like I've earned it will make it easy for us both! (´▽`ʃƪ) 9
Bull Posted March 2, 2015 Report Posted March 2, 2015 I have a very detailed reward system for my girl! I draw her weekly behavior charts like this: http://i.imgur.com/5MPgJY5.png At the end of the week, I rally her points up, and give her a reward based on her performance! At the end of the year, I display all the chart information on an infographic and compare it to the year before! 12

I think that I would really benefit from something more structured like this.

Guest taryn of arendelle Posted March 2, 2015 Report Posted March 2, 2015 I do love the idea of a points system though. Like one with little weekly rewards and then maybe a bigger reward at the end of the month. While I don't necessarily agreeing with bribing to get a little to have good behavior, I also realize that it encourages the little to do their best and gives them something to work for and look forward to. Yeah, for us the points system is about measuring my behavior, not bribing me to do well. I like that I'm proving to Papa that I'm doing well, but he isn't bribing me to behave. He is, like you said, encouraging me to do my best and giving me something to work towards. It helps me because I like to have goals and things to focus on. But I get what you mean by the idea of bribing. 1
Guest taryn of arendelle Posted March 2, 2015 Report Posted March 2, 2015 I don't know like maybe something off my princess wish list if I earned enough points over time. Papa talked about having little prizes and big prizes. I thought about a weekend away for a big prize but Papa said we were gonna do that anyway because HE was rewarded at work for being the best employee of the quarter and he gets a four day weekend coming up in a couple months. But little things would be like new crayons or something like that. But Papa also spoils me anyway so I dunno. We definitely have to talk about it! lol. 1
Guest Sae Posted March 3, 2015 Report Posted March 3, 2015 It's a cute system, and it's something I'd have to ask daddy about. It seems like it would also be a good thing to do, so you don't end up spoiling someone too much. :3 I'm not sure if it would work for us, because I'm pretty on task, unless I'm sick. Meds is the only thing I forget sometimes, but when I think about it, I take them. So I think that would just end up being a take my pills chart. Hehehe... ^^; I hate my memory. 1
manicpixidream Posted March 4, 2015 Report Posted March 4, 2015 right now daddy is helping me stop smoking. so for each week I go without a cigarette, I get to make him watch a Disney movie of my choice. This is a new rule and hasn't happened yet, but it helped me not smoke today, so I have high hopes to introduce him to big hero 6 this weekend! 2

Omg, thats so cute and such a nice reward! :3 It's so simple but so sweet! :3 I hope you can make it for this week!
FoxKit Posted March 6, 2015 Report Posted March 6, 2015 Here's one that my brother and my bro-in-law uses! I think it's really clever. He can use the marbles to earn stuff like a new toy or even disney tickets. The sign on the right shows how many marbles it's worth. http://i.imgur.com/YyIXaQp.jpg 8
PeppermintBatty Posted March 6, 2015 Report Posted March 6, 2015 I don't get rewards. I don't need them. I'm completely self motivated. I play the "matriarch" of my family. If I suddenly "stopped" or didn't do my chores, important services to my family would stop and my family would risk falling apart. Perhaps later on, when I have more money and a less stressful schedule, me and my daddy can implement a rewards system. However, as long as I have my own debit card, two jobs, and too much to do to sweat treating myself, I'm probably not going to need a rewards system. 1
left_unattended Posted March 6, 2015 Report Posted March 6, 2015 I'm a little bit weird, I have a progress chart without the rewards system. I made it myself since my relationship with my online Daddy is mostly sexual. I also have chronic depression which is really kicking my butt lately, so being able to see my progress is really important for my mental health. This is my most recent week, the second week since I started. 1

How did you make it?
SargeantCuddles Posted March 20, 2015 Report Posted March 20, 2015 We don't really have one or at least I think we don't. Whenever I do something good like finish all my food behave extremely well or do my chores I get a treat.
Baby_Bows_ Posted April 16, 2015 Report Posted April 16, 2015 We use to have a reward system based on household chores and stuff but not anymore but I do get special treats for being really good like ice cream before dinner! I favored you on etsy. I wike the headbands I also wike that you have God in your name thingy in this post I quoted. I'm having trouble finding other Christian littles! 1 1
dirtehmuffins Posted April 20, 2015 Report Posted April 20, 2015 Daddy and I use this thing called HabitRPG! It has a lot more stuffs involved, but here's what I use it for: Enforcing good habits, Negating bad habits Daily tasks like texting Daddy good morning, sending him a picture of my outfit, classes, work, etc. To-Do lists It has a built in coin system. You can say how hard or easy it is to do something for you personally and it'll give you more or less coins based on that. It lets you make your own rewards and stuff and how much they are for. AND it's an iOS and Andriod App. It has this whole other journey interface that I NEVER use and things work out just fine. Like when you do good things, you get eggs and hatching potions so you can get pets and stuff. It really really helps me stay on task. ^___^ I can't express to you guys how amazing this thing is. This is what it looks like. I tried to black out all the dirty things. 14 1
MrBonesWildRide Posted April 20, 2015 Report Posted April 20, 2015 Wow dirtehmuffins, I really like that. That looks cool! I'll give it a try!
Baby_Bows_ Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 I have a sticker chart that has: Be creative Be sweet Clean one room Read Bible On it and it has a spot for everyday. If I earn 25 stickers I get a trip to the $1 tree and get to pick out one thing. Sometimes daddy changes it and he'll add something else. 1
Xia Posted April 27, 2015 Report Posted April 27, 2015 Since dirtehmuffins posted about HabitRPG, I finally decided to try it, and it's working amazing. I used to do a thing called SuperBetter, but that had made me feel my goals were unobtainable. It helped me get through dark times with my anxiety and depression, but I left it. It's like SuperBetter, but better. The hardest part is coming up with the things you need to add. Rewards took a while to get in too, but now I have it all set up it's fun and motivating. I've worked on Etsy consistently since I added it to my habits and I know I'm drinking enough water now. The animals are a fun surprise, and Daddy is completely compliant with when I want to use my coins for the rewards. Also, I never feel like I'm a failure because I cannot complete the things. My name is Xiaon on there, if anyone wishes to find and add me. ^^
Kiwii Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 Daddy just made me the best rewards chart! Here are some pics http://40.media.tumblr.com/79dae54b06f375b2dc0a796371322b0d/tumblr_nncdqrZnfS1r0edbao1_540.jpg http://41.media.tumblr.com/dd851ba8b7876ecb66c3201409e046e0/tumblr_nncdqrZnfS1r0edbao2_1280.jpg So, I have the rules written in the back, how many glasses of water a day I need to get for a sticker and things like that (a lot of rules). When I get 10 stickers I can remove the card (I only know what the first price is, the rest are a surprise). There are restictions as well, like for the first price (which is going out to a fancy restaurant) I have to let Daddy know with a month in advance where I want to go, the second restriction says: The princess choses the place ^.^ 1
PrincessBunnieButt Posted April 30, 2015 Report Posted April 30, 2015 Daddy and I have discussed implementing this once we live together after the move. Right now its a bit hard for us.
