PrincessFay Posted December 4, 2017 Report Posted December 4, 2017 For the past couple years I've just had this overwhelming urge to travel. Am I the only one who feels like this?? I really want to find someone and get a van and travel the world. I might sound crazy but I crave it so bad 1
Persephone_Persephone Posted December 4, 2017 Report Posted December 4, 2017 Not at all! I often get itchy feet and want to pack up and explore places. I went to Norway and stopped in about 4 areas there on the western side in the summer. And I just got back from Amsterdam. Make it happen if you can! 1
Guest sunnybaby Posted December 4, 2017 Report Posted December 4, 2017 Daddy and I are taking a road trip up to NYC and moving there next summer, but of course, I wanna travel even more. So to hold me over, if I've been good, on Sundays we throw a dart at the map of our county (or sometimes state) and go there. A little mini adventure! It seems silly I guess but it holds me over until our trip (and maybe that could work for you too?) 1
Littlest_Bee Posted December 4, 2017 Report Posted December 4, 2017 I don't think it seems silly at all, Chelsea. It seems like a wonderful idea. A nice way to decide on an activity without stressing too much about it. ❤ Travelling is great and far away trips aren't always possible. But often exploring things nearby can be a fun adventure, too - especially if we manage to look around with that special childlike wonder in the small things.
Guest Naturalselectionissexy Posted December 4, 2017 Report Posted December 4, 2017 Perfectly normal, especially if you have bounced around during your childhood. I've sailed around the eastern seaboard for a year and also went from State to state by land for quite some time. Just this weekend I was in Chicago, Amsterdam, Paris, and Dubai, granted this was an abnormal trip but satisfied the travel bug! One thing you'll have to figure out is how to generate a good income while doing so. Travel is not cheap! 1
Littlest_Bee Posted December 4, 2017 Report Posted December 4, 2017 Honestly, I bounced around so much as a kid that I'd appreciate having a home in one place for a while. Travelling is fun but I want to have a home and friends to return to. Develop roots somewhere. But there's still a lot I haven't seen yet out there so I'll always enjoy travelling as well. ❤
Guest Naturalselectionissexy Posted December 5, 2017 Report Posted December 5, 2017 I completely agree about having a "home" and friends should hopefully be universal. Having that one person to turn to regardless of the situation is what I have desperately missed in the last few years. It's ridiculous since those that say they love to travel sure can't deal with the reality of it... 1
