It may contradict with his gender identity because it's a traditionally female moniker, but I would say no overall. it all boils down to what he's comfortable with. Nothing wrong with that.

I hope I won't get attacked for saying I personally think it is weird.. If I was a trans guy I would give anything to be seen as that, to identify with the guy I feel like, not like a princess.. I wouldn't be happy anyways. If you feel like a guy, wouldn't you want to steer away from girly stuff because it reminds you of your girl body and identity you don't want? I don't know. Everyone has their own opinions about this. Ofcourse it doesn't bother me but you asked for our opinions haha.
