BabyLie Posted November 26, 2017 Report Posted November 26, 2017 Hello ! Well, I'm very new here and in all of the ddlg thing. I have heard about that few months ago and I recognized myself in a lot of things, sometimes I feel so little, I just need comfort but I never knew what it was before. If I have decided to sign up here it is because yesterday I was walking with two friends and all of a sudden I felt so little, I was so happy to see a very pretty huge rock, I was jumping around it and I was like screaming ''look look !!!'' to my friends, and they were laughing and I heard them say " she looks like a kid, omg she's like a baby" and I don't know it make me feel even littler. I don't know how to manage this situation, I have nobody to give me advices, to talk about it. It make me super sad that I can't talk about that and that I don't have anybody to help me to get into little space. Yesterday was the first time ever and I was soooooo confused, I didn't even know what was happening, it just happened... Please I need the advice of other littles and daddies too, help me to understand what is happening to me.. PS: I'm from France, sorry if my English is not good, I'm trying super hard 1
Wolfycheeks Posted November 26, 2017 Report Posted November 26, 2017 You saw a colorful rock and got happy and bouncy. Your friends are dumb for laughing at you. Tell them off or get new friends. Even adults get super excited over certain stuff, my mum for example goes wild when she sees super arsty stuff she likes. Enough people become super bouncy and crazy when they see their favourite celebrity. You saw a super cool rock and got excited.. nothing stupid about that. 1

I was so happy it was so pretty and big, but my friends.. I don't know, I don't really think they were mocking me but they were just laughing maybe it was not mean because they're my friends ?

I don't know, I don't really think they were mocking me but they were just laughing maybe it was not mean because they're my friends ? Ofcourse it's not stupid! Everyone has their interests, I'm sure some people who specifically collect pretty looking rocks would bounce with you lol! And maybe, do they bring it up though? Or are they still talking about it? Even if they thought it was silly, so what? you're not living to please them. If they're good friends i'm sure they just thought it was funny and a bit weird, but not in a mean way. 1
Guest SUeB Posted November 26, 2017 Report Posted November 26, 2017 You should see me when i see a really pretty rainbow, a beautiful horse or a bigger than average moon, lol. You are who you are. Try to take time to figure yourself out, and then when you have, you need to accept it. 2
Doodlbug Posted November 26, 2017 Report Posted November 26, 2017 I get like that in all kinds of Situations too, I mean, if I see something cute or sparkling I'll totally freak out! When I'm around people that don't know, I'll try to cover it up, or I'll just overhear them, but I know that can be hard :/ I only have two really close friends and they know I'm a pretty childish person at heart, and they never said anything mean at all. Yes, occasionally sometimes they say stuff like 'you're silly' or 'you're being ridiculous' but they usually don't mean it in a bad, but a funny kind of way. Sometimes the tone makes the music, you know? Maybe they didn't even mean it in a bad way at all :3 1
mintypowder Posted November 26, 2017 Report Posted November 26, 2017 First off, that is not stupid at all. I won't say that your friends are completely cruel for mocking you like this yet they could have been more understanding. I guess the people around you are not good for you seeing that you are easily affected by them. You can get excited or react differently to certain things unlike others and that doesn't make you wrong. I assume you are still trying to get to know the little inside you so you may start by asking some questions to yourself to approach your inner side such as, ''Do I enjoy this?'' , ''Would doing this make me feel happier, more in peace with myself?'' , ''What do I look for?'', etc. As to getting into little space, you can behave however you like in your little space, whatever to make you feel relaxed, happy, or generally, good. You may want to hug your teddy bear because of feeling so overwhelmed or suck your thumb, that is totally up to you. What I'm trying to say here is, there's nothing to panic about, okay? Try seeing discovering yourself as a fun activity rather than full of conflict. We are here for you, hon. ♥ 1

No they did not talk about it after so I think it's okay, but I will have to be careful next time, I don't want them to think I'm weird..

I don't think it was mean, I hope so, they know I'm quite childish, but it was so awkward to know I was falling into little space next to them for the first time

Guest infinitecases Posted November 26, 2017 Report Posted November 26, 2017 My friends call me a baby or a little girl mockingly all the time, or they just give me weird looks. Unless they're doing it in a way that is hurtful, I don't take much notice, I like what I like and if I accidentally show too much excitement about something then I guess that's just what they saw, excitement. Do what makes you happy and don't listen to what other people say I usually get a bit down if someone has said something mean, which I why I don't act too little around certain people, some people will find it it more okay than others. 1
