Deaf/Mute in DDLG

Ummm hi,

 

I'm not sure if this is the right part of the forum to write about this. And this doesn't affect me personally bc I'm neither deaf nor Mute, but I realize story time and children's books etc is something a lot of us love.

 

And maybe your little or your caregiver may be more or deaf, Idk. But if anyone is struggling to bridge the gap or wanted something to make story time better for themselves.

 

 

There's a link here to some ASL adapted storybooks, that may help? Or someone may want? Idk .///. I just thought it'd be nice

I thought this was an advice thread at first. Cx While I am not completely deaf, I frequently lose my hearing due to recurring ear infections, and the struggle is very real sometimes. I don't know ASL, so I cant really use those books, but I'll definitely recommend them to my friends. Thank you for shining some light on them.

Oh no! Ear infections suck! My sister suffers from those all the time too. I hope it gets better and thanks! >//< yea I wish I could give advice but I thought the resource was nice.

Personally, I'm very aware of Deaf and its community. I'm fluent in American Sign Language.
