Obsessive_Compulsive Posted July 9, 2018 Report Posted July 9, 2018 Does pansexual count?! Cause if so hi!! 1
LittleTeacup Posted February 27, 2019 Report Posted February 27, 2019 I don't identify as bisexual or any other sexual orientation because I don't think it's a useful label for me. Human sexuality is too complex and I tend to get stuck in rigidity if I claim a particular identity. It took me years to un-identify as the default straight and I don't want to deal with that again. But, I have had crushes on both men and women. Sexual attraction has really only occurred with one person so far, who is a man, but I see no reason why I couldn't experience it with a woman in the future. I take the feelings as they come. The main issue seems to be liking somebody who likes me back in the first place. 1

Apparently being a mostly straight bisexual is the biggest percentage of bisexuals. And yes, since it's societally still easy for people to assume "straight" as a default or at least jump to the conclusion that you can only be attracted to one side of a gender binary, it's easy to be overlooked as a bisexual. I've really come to love the idea of displaying the bisexual flag somewhere on me e.g. at a party where we had those differently coloured glow sticks, I took a blue one, a purple one and a pink one and put them around my wrist to form the bisexual flag. I don't know if anyone noticed but it made me happy. There is a YouTube channel where the creator talks a lot about visibility. He was working on a clothing line and I'm pretty sure he still offers pins and stuff to help bisexuals be more visible: BisexualRealTalk (might have NSFW content, I'm often unsure about the line) He also writes bisexual romance novels (mostly M/M/F) - though I haven't read any of them so far. But maybe it might be interesting for some of you to check him out. Hope everyone has a nice weekend. ☀️
Soulmatesearch Posted May 18, 2019 Report Posted May 18, 2019 I could be.Masculine guy, but the submissive babyboy side thinks about it.
Little kaiya Posted May 21, 2019 Report Posted May 21, 2019 (edited) I used to identify as bisexual when I was younger but as I've gotten older and come to grips with being genderfluid, and what that means for me and how I interpret gender, I've adopted the term pansexual as I feel it better expresses who I am. There's a lot of debate over what the difference is between bisexual and pansexual. Personally I try to focus more on the similarities versus differences and figure each person should choose whatever term they feel best expresses who they are. Different terms shouldn't encourage exclusion but rather they should be a starting point for some great discussion and a way to get to know other people.
