Confused Little Wanting A Onesie

I'm so confused the onesie I have is a 1x from rearz and it is honestly a little big, yet on every other onesie site it says I can't fit because of my waist. The one I wear fits a 42 inch chest and is 95% cotton and 5% spandex. My waist is around 46 inches.

It probably depends on where its coming from. I'm Canadian and recently ordered a scrub uniform from an american company. Apparently american sizes are way different and I should have ordered 2 sizes smaller than I did.

 

So if your used to american sizes go bigger for clothes anywhere else. For instance a 46" waste would probably be a 3XL in Canada if its China maybe 4 or 5XL.

I get that part but when the onesie is made from the exact same material and has the same size for chest, apparently it's too small because of the waist when here I am wearing my rearz onesie.

Same thing happened to me. A medium is too big.

They're all likely just cut a little differently. :/ Can you order one and just return if it doesn't fit??  Order larger than you think and if it's TOO big, wash the heck out of it in hot water to see if it'll shrink a tad.  Or see if you can contact a onesie maker and ask about a custom size.
