The Woes of Being a Kitten Without a Master

[Panda God]

With no one to hold me,

I'm always sad and lonely.

With no one but my stuffies to confess to, 

my secrets and innermost thoughts remain unspoken. 

 

Though I can care for myself,

how lovely it would be to have someone care for me.

Yes, I can cook, clothe, and groom myself, 

but oh, how I wish I didn't have to.

 

In the cold, dark nights,when I lie in bed awake,

my demons, my troubles, oh, how they plague me. 

Depression, like a vampire, sucks all of my joy away,

till I'm nothing but a husk, an empty shell.

 

What is a submissive without their dominant?

What is a pet without their Master? 

Why, they are nothing but a sailor in a stray life boat,

being battered and swallowed by the cruel waves of life.

 

A dom is a light, a calling beacon 

for a distant, lost submissive. 

A master is warmth, care, and security

for a pet's malnourished and frightened soul.

THAT part, in my opinion, is exceptionally beautiful. Great job on the poem.

 

But also, don’t feel so lonely, he’ll come to you exactly when you least expect it. And it’ll be worth the initial wait, trust me.
