Times when you've had to stop yourself from going into Daddy Mode

Do any caregivers ever experience times where you've had to stop your daddy side from taking over or going into daddy space at a time that wasn't exactly your place to say anything or scold them?

 

Whether if it's a little that's not yours being bratty or a stranger/someone you know that isn't little. Or were there ever times with a little you're taking to but not their daddy and they did something that made you have to really stop yourself from going all daddy mode on them? Basically any "palm twitching" moments... yes I just quoted Fifty Shades of Grey 

 

Please share your stories, this is something I'm so curious about!

He is only my Daddy, so He has no compulsion or interest to discipline or give anything related to His Daddy side to anyone else. He is a Man with morals and common sense, so gets frustrated with morons, lol, but that's pretty much true of most people with those things. i do too, but i am not a Daddy.

Yes. I worked in an office with many young women who were constantly fighting among each other, and there were several times with only a few in question that I had to stop myself from doing or saying what I really wanted to. There is a brattiness that exists that I find both inappropriate and *palm twitchingly* fun. It's an attitude that is part playful but mostly mean spirited toward other girls. As their superior in the workplace, I had to manage these tiffs with corporate awareness. But what I really wanted to do was put them over my damn knee.

Last new years i was with on a house party of some good friends and the girlfriend of a good friend behaved like a real brat. Called names and spread really bad vibes. Nobody said anything because they thought her boyfriend should have the word but he did nothing. So i had a word with her. I even told her that i would smack her butt for being so bratty. After our talk she was finally a little smooth kitten. Problem solved. Her boyfriend wasnt mad and my friends thanked me for doing this.

There was a moment that was rather embarrassing for me about a year ago now. I had been seeing this totally vanilla gal for about 5-6 months and she decided to stay the night. We had some ice cream late in the evening and afterwards in my sleepy stupor I told her to brush her teeth and get changed for bedtime, not even thinking how weird that would be to her. She didn't say anything about it at the time. But our relationship ended a few weeks after that and I've always felt like that could have been a reason.

Oh I got a good one for you. I was hanging out with a girl I know and she's a Dom also. We hadn't seen each other since elementary school and decided to take a walk and catch up. We were walking through a part of town and she jumped up on a very small concrete wall and walked beside me. When she got to the end and started to hop down I grabbed her waist, spun her around, and set her down. The look on her face was absolutely priceless. Before all of this happened I didn't know she was a Dom. She was wearing a bondage belt on our walk so I knew when I explained my actions she would understand. It came out accidentally one day at work. I used to work at a Dunkin' Donuts and one of my co-workers told me to grab something for her because she was in a hurry, something like 'Give me that cup'. I paused and somehow that triggered 'daddy instincts' and I replied back, "That's not how you ask me for things, kitten". There was a good pause before I realized what I said and I apologized by saying I came from babysitting my baby sister (I'm an only child... but she doesn't know my family life so it straightened everything out.)

Last year I had a bratty little princess working on my production line. We had become somewhat sociable, and I was in the process of helping her step up into a higher position at the time. One night I suppose she forgot herself as I was explaining a stack pattern for a new product, and she literally said, Yes, Daddy!" I was shocked, but more concerned that someone else on the line had heard her. Fortunately, no one had overheard her. I suppose she had picked up on the "daddy vibe" I give off in work situations.

 

Unfortunately, that can cause issues as well. I've had to correct a lot of people who were either used to having their way, or thought they were going to dictate to me. In social situations Im a totally different animal, but on the job, it's pretty much Dom Mode: Engaged lol.

To be fair, if anyone threatened to spank or discipline me, he would see a very different side to me, lol. I think every Daddy/Mommy/ CG has these moments even littles. somtomes the fun or awkward moments were "modes" pop up unexpected, unaware.
Its who you are. I da a few in my life, specialy at work.  I always talked to the girls in the office in a respectable but casual way, but  .. I have a thing for clumsy,bit nerdy girls somehow and there was a girl at work who had it all  by looks and way she behaved dressed , appeard and so on.. One day shes in the printerroom all on hands and knees trying to fix a piece of paper that got stuck. I asked totally unaware,  wel lil one what are you doing , she looked up and just answerd with her biting her lip, ehm paper stuck, with a look .. i thought i died. So i replied, let Daddy help fix it for u, get off your knees and go stand there. I dive into the machine few tugs and a blow. all done .. turn around machine works i see a super happy twinkle on that face,..there u go missy, Then i realize the things i said.. walk out of the room go to my own desk and , little schocked.

few days later , i come at work. go sit switch on my sreen and see a apple sitting there , with a lipstick kiss on it ....
