Favorite makeup (sorry I'm a little crazy)

Idk why but I feel like every time I tell someone I'm into ddlg and they know I love makeup they say "oh but that doesn't mixed" ok... and? But anyways I really like makeup and the brands. My favorite is either this highlighter thing I got from 5 and below (an American/Texan store) or my tartelette in bloom eyeshadow palette or my elf eyebrow gel. So I really wanna know, what new kinds of makeups should I try? And what's your favorite makeup?

Make up Forever is the best! They have sooooo many pretty colours!! Oh and their Aqua line does not come off at all! I love their eyeliners.

 

Oh ohh ohh Two Face has super cute packaging, it looks so littleish! I love wearing their products when I'm feeling little!

 

Kat Von Dee has amazing full coverage foundation and her products are so pigmented and don't fade or transfer. 

 

Mac is the best for eyeshadows, they rarely crease (as long as you're using eye primer). Urban Decay has amazing eye primer and setting spray. 

 

Benefit has really good brow products and their Pore Me Primer is amazing, it minimizes your pores so when you put foundation on it looks so flawless. 

 

Anastasia has really good brow gels and contours. 

 

Rihanna's new line is amazing, her highlighters are soo pretty!

I use a lot of wet n' wild, jordna, and e.l.f. stuff. They're all cruelty free brands and so inexpensive! though most days I just wear lip gloss from Lip Smacker.

I'm in love with NYX lipsticks, they're so creamy! and they have so many colors!

 

Their concealer is pretty good too, I use the HD Photogenic Concealer Wand, in tone Porcelain, and I love it.

 

Mascara, nobody moves me from Maybelline, I have used Illegal Length for a while,but has now been dethroned by the Lash Sensational,I love it so much, because it leaves my eyelashes so long and gives a lot of volume !, besides that it does not run with water.

 

In shadows right now, I use the Naked 2 by Urban Decay and I have some individual shades of Colorpop, they pigment very well.

I really want to have the Sweet Peach and Chocolate Bon Bons from Too Face.

For my birthday I asked for the NYX palette Perfect Filter Rustic Antique

 

I think that's all...

Oh! yes! for makeup remover I use Neutrogena towelettes, Night Calming

OMG. So I just recently started getting into makeup like this summer, cause I never had the time, curiosity, money, or effort to put into makeup before and I can sometimes understand what you mean about people saying ddlg and makeup don't mix (which is bs to me, people can do whatever they want with regards to makeup or no makeup) and I've gone a little nuts trying stuff out. I feel like I'm a bit more into skincare because a lot of makeup makes me breakout and like kinda itchy ig. But I really like lip products and eyeliner and i'm getting into eyeshadow and highlighter and blush too. NYX is probably my favorite for lipsticks because they've got really gorgeous colors and i like both the matte and non matte lipsticks. I also got a couple lip glosses from hoez poppin' and they're super good. I got some really good highlighter from star crushed minerals that's suuuuper pretty and I got a pretty blush from there too. I have both the lime crime venus palettes now and those are pretty cool. I want to try one of the new darker cushion foundations from innisfree or laneige because I've heard the original korean formulas are better makeupwise for foundations but they're pretty expensive.

Oh my goodness I love makeup so so much. It's my obsession.

 

Some of my favourite brands are Morphe for eyeshadows. And Makeup Geek.

Jeffree Star for liquid lipsticks.

Charlotte Tilbury, Giorgio Armani and Kevin Aucoin are other favourites.

Sleek have an amazing highlight palette an it is so cheap too.

Oh and Maybelline for lipsticks too. Their Fit Me foundation is so nice too. Oh and L'Oreal too.

Tarte and Urban Decay have nice stuffs too. Hehe sorry I'll stop listing stuffs now, there are so many more. I just love makeup so much.

Massively into makeup too! 

 

My favourite brand has to be Two Faced. Their highlighters are amazing <3 They're heart shaped and super cute, plus they look amazing on. I'm also a fan of The Body shop shade adjusting drops, I know it's not makeup persay, but it's so handy to make foundation lighter when you're a pale doll like me! 

 

I've also got a thing for Makeup Revolution; somethings can be a bit of a miss with them, but their Candy Queen of hearts  blusher is a direct Two faced dupe, and it's... a fraction of the price! So they're good if you're on a budget.

Right now I am really really REALLY loving Colourpop eyeshadows and lippies. They're super pigmented and don't break the bank. I really like the Fenty Beauty lipgloss and shimmer sticks too.

Someone come help me! Littles makeup party needs to happen! I like makeup, I can’t do the makeup always looks bad like I’m trying too hard I always wear, tinted moisturizer, mascara ( MILK cosmetics is the blackest mascara I’ve ever found, it’s amazing!) and some pink 2 in 1 lipstick blush.

 

What else should I try? I have a Naked pallet and only ever use it for my eyebrows

My skin reacts with a lot of things so I stick to clinique which is reasonably priced, easy to get and what my dermatologist recommended. Not long ago I went crazy buying their limited edition crayola colored lip balms, some of them I would count as lipstick because they are so strong.

I love the suede lipsticks from NYX, and I really love the Peach series from Too Faced; it makes me feel like a summer princess. I'm making Daddy get me the eyeshadow palette for Christmas. I've never tried anything from it, but I heard Tarte is really good. Whenever I get the money, I'm buying some foundation from them.

I love love love Morphe eyeshadow and brushes, NYX lipsticks and eyeshadow, and I love EVERYTHING from Too Faced. They’re really good makeup and it’s all so cute! Especially the peach collection palette!

And I really adore Fenty shimmer sticks. They’re a sooo pigmented and they look gorgeous.

ahhhhhhh!!! i have found my people oh my gosh

one of my favorite products ever is benefits highbeam highlighter. its so nice and a little goes a long way!! if you want a more natural glow elf has some amazing baked highlighters (im a hoe for the glow though so i layer them). elf have some good eyeliners too. im not really one for liquid/marker eyeliners but elf have one that is so nice and its so easy to use but its not as dark as their gel liner. my go to brands for eyeshadow are bh cosmetics and smashbox. they have such pigmented palettes and all of their colours are so easy to blend. i love them. oh!!! too faced's glitter bomb palette is also a masterpiece. ever since i got it ive never been able to do a look without it (i just need to sparkle all the time).

i really want like all of the fenty beauty line but trying to get a hold of that in new zealand is a lot harder than expected. 

i feel like i should stop now but just ugh i love makeup and none of my friends are as invested as me

(edit:) bh cosmetics has some amazing brushes too. and theyre soooo cheap

I'm a pro makeup artist. Most of my work has been in the theater/opera, so I tend to gravitate towards 'stage' brands such as Ben Nye & Graftobian. I also really like NYX. The big name brands sold at stores like Sephora & Ulta are really pretty and attractive, but the combination of price & quality is usually just not there for me.

Hush has EXCELLENT dupes of big name eyeshadow palettes at great prices. And Juvia's Place palettes are to die for.

 

ColourPop is great for eyeshadows, Liquid lippies, and highlighters.

Oh gosh, I have far too many favourites.

The balm, benefit, Estée Lauder, urban decay, too faced, smashbox.

I love Benefits bad gal lash mascara too, it’s actualy made by their sister company, Dior. Seriously try it soooo much better than benefits They’re real or too faced better than sex and it comes in a mini to try before you buy the full size.

 

Someone also mentioned perfume - which I collect even more so then makeup.

My favourites are Marc jacobs daisy & daisy dream. Chloe, Parisienne by ysl and surprisingly fancy by Jessica Simpson which is so cheap but smells exquisite.

I would say it absolutely can be mixed 

 

I love cute, natural and 'little' makeup like lip gloss, lip tint, blush or korean makeup that's focused on the young, glowy and cute look. 

 

Also can we talk about new Lime Crime lipsticks because I think I'm in love?? They're called plushies and are sooo adorable

They're also light on the lips, so perfect for that more natural look and the shades are soo cute   I love milk tea, turkish delight and rosebud.
