hisangel Posted October 16, 2017 Report Posted October 16, 2017 I just mentioned something to my daddy about setting up a small tree in our room and doing DDLG gifts separate from everything else cause we have young kids at home. 3
Guest pacibrat Posted October 16, 2017 Report Posted October 16, 2017 You should definitely do that! I'd keep the presents put up until the night of gift opening (unless the kids won't see them). Wait for your kids to go to bed and then you get to be little and open all your presents just you and Daddy together! 3
Guest dadBADDY Posted October 17, 2017 Report Posted October 17, 2017 Wow this sounds like such a great idea. I can only imagine how special that would be.. I want this for sure. Hope you and your Daddy get to do this! 1

Guest SUeB Posted October 17, 2017 Report Posted October 17, 2017 Won't be seeing my Daddy on Xmas day, sadly. But hopefully we will spend new years eve and day together. His Xmas with His daughters was already planned, and i spend mine with my kids. The relationship is too new to throw the families together like that this year. But it's nice to plan special things like the that for the two of you 1

hisangel Posted October 17, 2017 Author Report Posted October 17, 2017 My daddy said yes! We talked about it last year but it didn't work out money wise. This year is better though. Me and my Daddy are married though so this stuff is easier to plan out. Just don't wanna explain to kids 14 and under why Daddy is buying me sippys and stuffs and toys.

Yes, its true when you are a little with kids you needs to balance this stuff with being a parent..some stuff stays but others i imagine are harder...for example i am a new little it would be so hard to not call Daddy...Daddy...hmmm but i guesses when i get a Daddy their will be times i can'ts calles him Daddy...Yes?
hisangel Posted October 17, 2017 Author Report Posted October 17, 2017 Yep, for us I can get away with calling mine Daddy almost all the time cause with the kids it's well you need to go ask Daddy or tell Dada bye since this was our normal before DDLG. My kids don't think twice about it. The only time I have to watch it is when other family is around. It's funny though cause Daddy doesn't think twice sometimes and I'm telling him to watch it. He has called himself Daddy to me when his mom was around before. It was said quietly but I know she would have heard it if she's paying attention. But she's not the nosey type either.
