BabyPinecone Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 Okay, okay. So in order for me to be little in public, for Halloween I'm dressing up as a baby kind of thing. I'm on onsiesdownunder.com and I'm having trouble figuring out which size I should order for a onesie. I want it to be tight but like how it should be, not too tight or too loose. I'm 4'11" and about 110lbs, and I'm a bit thicker in the thighs area. Please someone help meeee! Any advice is appreciated, Thanks youu ^-^ 1
TwilightSparklez Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 Whats your chest, waist, shoulder, and length (from shoulder to crotch)?
BabyPinecone Posted October 14, 2017 Author Report Posted October 14, 2017 Whats your chest, waist, shoulder, and length (from shoulder to crotch)? I have no idea
TwilightSparklez Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 Let's start with some measurements then I can better help you. You're going to need a tape measure, then follow these directions the get the aforementioned measurements, don't worry about shoulder, just bust, waist, hip and length. https://www.wikihow.com/Take-Clothing-Measurements 1
Raerwyn Vanya Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 (edited) I work in Theatre, and I would suggest getting a Measurement Chart like the ones we use. It will allow you to record these numbers on a paper you can refer to as much as you need when looking for items. (I have memory problems so I'm actually going to make one for myself too). I've included a link to one you might find useful.https://i.pinimg.com/736x/f4/ba/15/f4ba15b081e342e023be24777acd903d--body-measurements-female-bodies.jpgAll the measurements on here could be useful, but I would suggest adding two measurements. Thigh and Calf. These are the measures of the thickest parts of your upper and lower legs respectively. These numbers come in handy for things like OTKs and tights.Edit: seems this one is missing inseam. I'll look for a second one, but those can get overcrowded and confusing. Here is a picture showing common measurements we collect, but with no area to record. These can be useful.http://www.efoza.com/postpic/2010/05/body-measurement-chart_565519.jpg Edited October 14, 2017 by captainaether 1

Guest Arc Posted October 15, 2017 Report Posted October 15, 2017 Most onesies are made of a reasonably stretchy fabric, so just go with whatever is closest to you on the size chart. https://onesiesdownunder.com/pages/sizing-chart Your waist size is their large, your bust is their 2XL, and your length is far shorter than their XS so maybe try taking that again... Based on what you said, I would go with the large. It will be fitted around the waist, and the size chart says the bust of the large can stretch to 41" so that will still fit too. But if you're still unsure maybe go with the XL because it's inbetween 1
