SkittleDeBoop Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 I'm a new little here and I feel awful today. I was out with my Daddy today to get some Taco Bell. Our order took super long cuz I like lots of stuff on my burrito. I was wearing shiny shoes, pink tights, a white skirt, a pink leotard and a floral cardigan (which covered the top of the leotard). I was wearing minimal makeup and my hair was just brushed (no hair pieces). I am stating what I was wearing cuz it pertains to the story. Daddy and I were waiting for our order, I noticed people were staring at me, but tried to ignore it. We eventually started wondering why our food wasn't coming, it'd been over 20 minutes. We look up and see two police officers (1 man, 1 woman) approaching us as we sat and told us that someone had reported us because I looked like a 12-13 year old and that it looked suspicious to someone in the restaurant. We showed our identification and cleared up the misunderstanding. We ended up leaving after getting a refund for the food that never came. They offered to remake our food, but I was so upset that I wanted to leave right away. Has anyone else had this happen? Any advice on how to deal with it better in the future?
Guest ☽ ᴍᴏɴᴏᴄᴇʀᴏs ☾ Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 Oh well, I have not happened to the point that they have called the police, but if I have happened a few times when I went to the cinema that asked me for the identification because the movie is for people over 14. And some other person, especially adults, who ask me about my hair, think that I'm still in school and they ask me if I have problems with wear pink hair in school. And I'm like "lol no, I'm 26". For me, more than anything have been funny anecdotes, but I imagine it was quite uncomfortable for you and your daddy for the whole issue of police.
DaddySweetDaddy Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 Better off in the long run not having eating that awful food... sorry.. but its not good for you. 1
curlyheadspace Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 (edited) I' ve had just one situation like this with my Daddy. We were at a park in my city. I was wearing pigtails, skirt, knee high socks and my sneakers. And I was sitting on Daddy's lap when a man came up to us and said "She's underage." I was quite amused by this situation but I could tell that my Daddy've felt bad about it for some time after. It's because there's 12 years age gap between us and he's scared he looks with me like an old pervert or pedophile... Edited October 14, 2017 by curlyheadspace 1
Guest bunnybear11 Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 I'm soo so sorry u had to go through this :c that sounds so awful, I've never had anyone call the police on me, but I definitely get stares from people when daddy picks me up from school to have lunch. I'm 18 and still a senior in high school (because of my exchange program I got held back a year), and whenever he picks me up to eat at the mall I'm wearing my school uniform and he's wearing his college clothes (he's a law student and dresses p formally usually), people always look at us funny :/
TwilightSparklez Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 I've sort of had this happen in my past relationship. We once had a mall cop trail us around for over an hour. The best thing you can do is smirk and internally say if they only knew. Try and find humor in the situation, people are judgemental and it's going to happen. But you have a wonderful relationship so boo hoo on them, maybe they need their moral sensibilities shaken up especially if it was something so innocent. So sorry this happened to you though *virtual hugs*. I would have totally made the restaurant feel bad about not feeding me because someone had complained. But again remember your in an amazing relationship and boo on anyone who wants to pick on that. Also, I agree with @DaddySweetDaddy Taco Bell sooo not good for you.
Leo_Ascendent Posted October 14, 2017 Report Posted October 14, 2017 Better off in the long run not having eating that awful food... sorry.. but its not good for you. Cool, don't eat it then? Not everyone is up in arms about GMO's and other pseudo-science. A simple soft taco is only 180 cal (which can be burned in a matter of 15 minutes) and provides a small amount of required % on many things (Sat.Fat, Protein, Dietary Fibers, Calcium, and Iron). So no harm, no foul. There's a lot more to food science than "it's fast food? Oh it's automatically bad." Taco Bell is one of the least UNHEALTHY (least terrible) fast food places to eat at. Anyway, OT, screw them. I haven't had to deal with this, but if I noticed someone watching my Little and I, I would go ahead and give them a show since they wanna creep. I have never heard of a "P-file" being caught in the open, they know they will get messed up by society (rightfully so, too). Then when they or the police say something, they can look like idiots. Good intentions, but piss off, don't worry about my life. XD But I'm an ass, and will instigate a situation in a heartbeat. XD 1
SkittleDeBoop Posted October 15, 2017 Author Report Posted October 15, 2017 (edited) Thank you to all the people who are sharing your advice and experiences. Just a minor hiss note below: To everyone talking about my choice in food, chill out! I have a fast metabolism and I need to consume a lot of calories on account of several medical issues I have: (I am underweight from being malnourished during my school years. Plus I have hypoglycemia and a fast metabolism. Think DC Flash metabolism.) I have to consume mass amounts of calories, because my body burns it off so quickly. I know that it's "unhealthy", but it's my body. I posted asking advice about what happened AT THE RESTAURANT,not asking your guys opinion about the restaurant in question. Please stick to the primary topic, if you please. Edited October 15, 2017 by SkittleDeBoop
Guest infinitecases Posted October 15, 2017 Report Posted October 15, 2017 I get mistaken for being a 12 year old all the time and people ask me how school is doing or whether I just started high school. People never believe me when I say I'm over 18 either even after I've shown them ID. My daddy looks old for his age too. Don't worry about them - why does it matter if they think you're underage, you got the never-aging genes they'll never have! Plus we can dress however we want regardless what's normal I dress like a little girl sometimes too.. or just differently.., and I always see other girls dressed all the same and feel out of place, but hey, if it makes you happy - who's to stop you? I try to ignore people staring at me as much as possible, and if it starts to annoy me I just stare back or give them evil glares or a sarcastic smile. 1
MadameButterfly Posted October 16, 2017 Report Posted October 16, 2017 That sounds like a horrible experience. I'm sorry it happened to you *hugs*
Guest CaptainAmerica97 Posted October 16, 2017 Report Posted October 16, 2017 I've always been mistaken for being older than I am
