Sharing my poetry for the first time /.\

Okay before i share my writings I'd like to say a few things.

This is art. Art is not perfect. It shouldn't be, that's what makes it beautiful. I have never ever really shared my poetry with people other than teachers and such, but i feel most people on here are genuinely kind and wouldn't judge me so i feel more comfortable.

Anyways, feel free to leave comments or your interpretation of my work. Remember not one opinion on it is necessarily right. Everyone sees and interprets things differently (: I welcome constructive criticism and your thoughts.

Now if you've made it this far through my rambling HI THANK YOU. I talk a lot. I apologize.

This world is still living along the ideology that enough pressure can turn us into diamonds.

I wonder how many bandaids we’ll have to hide until they realise that glass can only crack.

This world is a hammer

And we’re all just devastated

OK First I would like to say, no matter what anyone thinks about your writings or any other art always share it just because some may not like it or understand it does not mean someone else wont love it and identify with it.

That being said I enjoyed your poem, reminds me of how I felt all the time as a teen. I feel less so now but I do see constant reminders everywhere about how unforgiving the world can be.
