Hihi! I have a hard time remembering to take my medications and I don't feel it's fair to have my Daddy try and remember to remind me allll the time if/when I forget to take them.. I was wondering if anyone knows of an app that would be like a reminder thing that I can use on my phone and my Daddy can also use from his phone so he can check up on me (we're long distance btw)? I've tried things like habitica but it was too confusing for me tbh.. >.< I just want a simple app where I can put in the times I need to take my meds and then check it off when I take them, that if my Daddy also had the app, he could look and see if I checked off the reminder for the day and act accordingly. Any ideas? It'd be so much appreciated<3

ChoreMonster ? (Simple and funny!)

Cozi ? (Family organizer app)

For a simple list cozi would do the job..

ChoreMonster is more Little! Your daddy can add things for you to do and when.. and see if you did it... (and you win princess points and rewards!)

I've been on alot of medication since birth and used to struggle. I dont think apps are worth it tbh. The best thing I found was get a weekly medication box(or many if you have alot of meds like me). Set an alarm so you fill it with everything required on sunday night. Set your alarms in your phone again for every time you are gonna need to take meds.

This way you are being reminded but also the act of setting them all etc helps you remember better then an app.

The thing is, I want an app where I can be reminded and log in my activities like taking taking my meds and such, that my daddy can look at that way he doesn't have to ask me a million times throughout the day if I took them or not and if it's not checked he could ask or remind. Somethin like that. Idk. I think we found something though!

I also have different chores and self care things (like eating, showering, brushing my teeth, etc.) that I have a hard time remembering and other things on the schedule, that my daddy would like to check up on on occasion. so chore monster and cozi are apps that I think we'd enjoy alot lol. That way my daddy can see my schedules and with cozi I could see his too! It's just another something that popped into mind. >.<

Just something to keep us both organized! ^.^

I've also tried the days of the week medicine boxes, but I have no where really to put them where I'd see them to take, no counter space, and all the shelves in my room are empty cuz my cats make a mess of everything if there's stuff on them.. >.< Alarms don't work cuz most of the time I turn off the alarm, go to take my meds, get distracted by something and completely forget.. That one is mostly my fault with my add issues xD

I use booster buddy, it's a pretty good app, but my daddy can't also log in and see my progressions and stuff. He does however like me using it for the daily things to wake the animal up and the tips the characters give. ^.^

I'm also sorry for rambling. I'm really tired and about to pass out at the moment, lol.

Oh, I have the perfect one!! I needed one for the exact same reason! I wanted him to be able to see my medication and know if I'd marked them as taken or not. It's called medisafe. You can link him if he gets the app too and he'll be able to receive notifications for your medication.

Hey there! It's great to hear that you found an app that works well for you. Medisafe sounds like a really useful tool for keeping track of your medication and sharing that information with your doctor.
