Considering leaving the dd/lg community

So I have been hesitant to actually admit this but I'm thinking it might be best for me to make my exit from dd/lg. I live in an area where it is not popular to be involved with communities of self expression and its kind of giving me difficulties finding a relationship. I'm just not in a positive place right now but I'm open to suggestions! Ldr's are not a problem because I'm able to travel but recently ldr's just haven't been working out for me. All advice is appreciated

If this is where your heart lies, then stay. But if you believe it to be better for you on a personal level, always follow that. Anything that relieves a burden or stress is very psychologically healthy. And if you settle down and find someone that you love, you can always try and approach ddlg with them instead of jumping in right off the bat

Either keep trying or don't. It's up to you. In case you leave you can always come back later.

Agree with what has been said. Follow your heart, but if it is not viable for you at the moment, leave it. You can always return to it at a later stage, it does not have to be forevers.

I appreciate the replies, I have weighed my options and I think I'll keep trying to online date until I actually find someone that I'm comfortable traveling to meet. Again thanks for the replies, I appreciate it.
