Guest Lepus Posted September 18, 2017 Report Posted September 18, 2017 Today was difficult for me, as just wanted to be little but couldn't. Had to be big, had to go work and be all big and growned up. I can't take my favourite stuffie with me to work, because that is not allowed. But I did takes my favourite little tiny stuffie, one that fits in my pocket. It helped a lot, even just lightly touch him in my pocket, when I needed to. I also was able to listen to my "go to" song on repeat, it also helped. It's difficult when you has to be big in a work area that isn't really little friendly. How do other littles cope?
DaddySweetDaddy Posted September 18, 2017 Report Posted September 18, 2017 Hi, I am genuinely curious, is it just some days are like this? Or, and I'm just sincerely wondering, have you no wish to be able to function as an adult in the world? Like, if you could be little always and not have to work or contribute to society in anyway, and just be cared for, is that what you would prefer? And if so, can you explain why that is? I hear the coping and doing things to help you get through it, and that is good. But its hard for all of us to do or go to work some days.
Guest periwinkles Posted September 18, 2017 Report Posted September 18, 2017 I have a bit of an easy time being able to "turn off" the little, but on days when that's harder I cope by doodling and colouring in my notebooks and eating sweets and other favourite snacks while I'm at school, and change into pjs and watch tv or play games with my favourite stuffie as soon as I get home!
lacey bunny Posted September 18, 2017 Report Posted September 18, 2017 I don't really get days like that but there are moments I am forced to be Big is when my Daddy is really busy with something serious and I gotta be a "Big Girl"When that happens I try to find simple little things to do that aren't too much. Cuppa juice in a cute cup, tea in my favourite cup, putting stickers/washi tape on things, I bought washable crayons and dry erase markers to colour on my desk (my Daddy is still against this even though he likes when I text him the pictures of my drawings), if I gotta write stuff down I use my Little pen that makes me happy, and/or spoil myself with a strawberry frap...the pink drink makes me happy. 3

It's some days like this, I know everyone gets days like this, but it's harder for littles. Especially when it is difficult to get out of little head space. I like being big most of the time and I do like contributing to society as means I can buy stuff, get tattooed and stuff like that. I have a bit of an easy time being able to "turn off" the little, but on days when that's harder I cope by doodling and colouring in my notebooks and eating sweets and other favourite snacks while I'm at school, and change into pjs and watch tv or play games with my favourite stuffie as soon as I get home! Thank you and yes I have my favourite stuffie with me, got him as soon as I got back home. It's just harder to turn off little than other days. I suppose not having a Daddy doesn't help either. I haven't got anyone to ground me and calm me when like this, which makes it more difficult. But knowing that others are like me, helps. It is good to know I am not alone.
PrincessClara Posted September 18, 2017 Report Posted September 18, 2017 Yep I have days like that! I usually just come onto here and chat with the other littles and such. I wear cute socks every day and have lots of little toys etc on my desk. If that wasn't allowed I am not sure what I would do except go onto google and look at cute things that make me happy. Maybe YouTube if I can get away with it and watch cartoons and stuffs
Guest Lepus Posted September 18, 2017 Report Posted September 18, 2017 I can't come onto site when at work or use youtube. But thank you. I may be able to soon have some little stuffs in work, there is no space on desk for things like that. But I am working on it. Hoping to maybe be able to get some pictures or cute calendar in work area soon, that would help me. I needs to make a blankie for work, so am going to see if I can add a little touch to it. That would helps me on bad days.

PrincessClara Posted September 18, 2017 Report Posted September 18, 2017 Yes I have a blankie too! It's hard to know what is okay for your work so I'm just throwing out ideas for you. Can you hang up pictures or anything like that? What about coloring? Pretty flowers?? Ummm.....Music is good too, that may be the best thing for you to do for now if you can't customize your work space at all.
Guest Lepus Posted September 18, 2017 Report Posted September 18, 2017 I may be able to put up pictures soon. I have cactuses on my desk and one of them has flowers Yes, I can listen to music, but only when working, not in meetings. As that is considered rude <sighs> I think if I start to introduce more little things slowly into work space, it may go unnoticed
PrincessClara Posted September 18, 2017 Report Posted September 18, 2017 Yeah that's kind of what I did. After 5 years here I have SO MUCH stuff now LOL little mcdonalds toys from happy meals, mini stuffies that are my desk guardians, I have a few fairies I brought from home etc.
Guest Lepus Posted September 18, 2017 Report Posted September 18, 2017 I thinks that what I will do. Thank you!
Princess-P Posted September 18, 2017 Report Posted September 18, 2017 I'm very lucky that I get to wear scrubs to work. There's absolutely no place to be childish or feel little in my line if work as I'm in enhanced medical care. But I can wear any scrubs I want which means I'm always decked out in cartoons (today was Tinkerbell), cute patterns, or just bright happy colors. I dont have a designated little space and I'm essentially big all the time. I'm a mom and have a full time job as well as a home to maintain. But being able to dress in a way that keeps me in touch with my personality helps a lot.
Guest Lepus Posted September 19, 2017 Report Posted September 19, 2017 I have my own work area in work, was in a different area that was shared, but now I have my own space, I want to slowly slide in some littles stuff. Next time I am in build a bear, I will get a mini stuffies for two and put them on desk, see how that goes down. Then goes from there
Guest Lepus Posted September 19, 2017 Report Posted September 19, 2017 I got a craft catalogue through the post today, some cute things in it, I think I will get for work area. And think maybe will see about getting some small stuffies in nearby shop, not babw. I'm getting excited about this now And will be starting blankie this weekend!
Glass Kitten Posted September 20, 2017 Report Posted September 20, 2017 Pretty much whenever I have to be at work and dealing with big dummies all day/ T.T
Daddy'sBrity Posted September 20, 2017 Report Posted September 20, 2017 I definitely have those days where I feel little but have to be big. There are things I keep in my bag for security reasons. I have small stuffy that I hold in my bag when I feel really bad. I have fave disney songs on my playlist at all times. I play those songs if I'm having to drive or in the car depending on who I'm with. I also pull up cute stuff on my phone if I have a minute to relax. And of course getting to hear or text daddy through out the day helps. It's just small things that make those days little better.
