littlegirl ella Posted September 5, 2017 Report Posted September 5, 2017 I was wondering if there are any littles that play with baby dolls. They can be any kind of baby dolls. I have a "My Sweet Love" interactive doll that makes realistic baby noises, breathing sounds, giggles, facial movements and says Mama-Dada. It was $19.97 at Walmart but I have noticed Amazon, ebay and others selling for them for much more money! I have also become fascinated by the more realistic dolls that go by the name of "Newborn Reborn" dolls that I discovered online, too. These particular dolls are more pricey though but they are much more realistic! They are also known as comfort dolls. I'd like to get a better quality baby doll in the future. I'll have to earn it though! Have a very nice day everyone!
Sweetbabybug Posted September 5, 2017 Report Posted September 5, 2017 I'm getting a reborn toddler next year and I'm sooooo excited
PlumpNekoPrincess Posted September 5, 2017 Report Posted September 5, 2017 I've been wanting to get a reborn doll for myself as replicas of my children as newborns. I spoke to a lady that does this exact process and really want them in the future. Daddy and I are to have our third child in two weeks though, so I'll be pretty occupied with our child. No need for a newborn dolly yet =p.
TwilightSparklez Posted September 6, 2017 Report Posted September 6, 2017 Keep an eye on antique stores for dolly furniture just got a solid wooden, vintage dolly rocking cradle for $17.

Lilith-Lynn-Lupin Posted December 23, 2019 Report Posted December 23, 2019 I have considered the new born dolls, but they are pricey. I want one for little space, but also adult me Has not been able to conceive. They say it helps fill an empty space. Any thoughts, also since I am a closet Little (although if my husband knew about this community he would know I am) how do I broach the subject of buying that expensive of a doll for myself.

littlegirl ella Posted February 10, 2020 Author Report Posted February 10, 2020 Hi Lilith-Lynn-Lupin! Thanks for replying. I'm sorry to hear you're having problems conceiving. Reborn dolls do fill a void, for a lack of a better word. It's great therapy for Alzheimer's patients, couples who can't have their own babies, people with anxiety or depression, and so many other challenges. As far as getting one for yourself I don't really know how to answer that question but is he interested in having a baby too or adopting a baby? This could be your own personalized custom made baby that you can actually take out in public. I have two and I take them both out and about with me from time to time. I love it. I even have baby car seats and a double stroller too! If you really want one I would suggest talking to him about it (I would hope he would be receptive to it) and see what he thinks. He may just surprise you and find that having a custom made reborn just as interesting to him as it is to you.
