Words of wisdom for chubby littles?

Recommended Posts

I have always been chubby, like all my life. And I don't feel as little as I want to because of it. I can't find the confidence of just, you know, letting go. Wear the cute outfits I want, own cute accessories like lace or silk chokers or anything.

I just don't feel pretty and little enough to be a little.

And I have been wondering if I can get some sort of advice. How do you guys gain confidence? What do you guys do to just let go of all that hateful mindset?

One thing you can do is to focus on YOU as a little and worry less about the outfits and accessories. Build confidence in yourself before relying on objects to do it for you. Little you is special and unlike any little ever. It's who you are, not what you wear or what you're holding. Just roll around in bed in a big, plain tshirt. You're beautiful!

I actually feel the same way, and am looking for an accountability partner to become more healthy. I usually try to start the day with telling myself something like `i wan´t to take care of my body´ and I focus on doing things such as eating healthier that will improve my appearance. I also imagine how my body will look if I continue to put in the effort of eating right. Just try to look through your imperfections... and focus on the things you love about yourself and remind yourself of those things.

Not the best advice, but one of the best things that ever happened for my little (who didn't even qualify as chubby but you know how girls are) was going around to one of my old highschool friends houses. He had some porn magazines in the bathroom and she noticed that what guys look at is drastically different to what is shown as beautiful in womens magazines. Womens magazines are all full of bony twig ladies, mens pornos on the other hand are full of very "full" ladies who could easily be considered "chubby". What most men want and what most women think we want is pretty different. Chubby is far more fun in the bedroom.

I followed a lot of body positive blogs on tumblr and it REALLY helped with my self confidence.

It sounds like you are faced with a very common but also very difficult conflict of body image. You are already on the right track by looking for ways to help build your confidence. I would say take an honest but gentle appraisal of how you feel about yourself currently and compare it with what your ideal or more confident self might be like. Already you've mentioned cute clothes and accessories which is great, those can be small rewards for you building on your self confidence. Finally try to remind yourself that being chubby isn't bad or ugly, many people prefer it. Any improvements you make in your lifestyle i.e. fitness habits, should be in addition to usual self care rather than viewed as punishments.

I  agree with this so much. I am very attracted to women who have a little extra. I generally watch porn with chubby girls. The interesting thing about this... I hate the way I look. I hate my body because I am overweight. I can't blame it on the fact that I just had a baby (a week ago) because I look exactly like I did before I was pregnant.

I literally am attracted to women with my body type, but hate my own body.

Welcome to the mind of a woman. haha

Personally speaking, I wasn't happy being chubby either so I started eating better, lost weight and got in shape and got confidence in return. Lost almost 50 lbs and have more mobility and such.

Do whatever it takes to make yourself feel better. Not just now, the long run too.

You are beautiful just the way you are.  the desire to be skinnier is based on some one elses preference.  if you want to do it for health reasons, then that is ok. If your desire is so that others find you more attractive then it is the wrong motivation.
