Mr.Hoolig4n D@ddy Posted August 19, 2017 Report Posted August 19, 2017 So I've said this on a few topics already but me and my little princess are both new to ddlg and bdsm in general. We live together but i work away from home most of the time so i only see her once a month. We've been together for almost 5 years and engaged almost a year and a half When we were vanilla i noticed these small things that she did that i found quirky and cute. Such as cuddle stuffies and colour as well as being CRAZY about cartoons and disney movies etc. Anyway long story short i did research in bdsm and discovered ddlg and voila! I knew i had a little on my hands. Now I'm a natural caregiver so it seemed like a perfect fit. But it seems like she struggles to get into little space and it's like she's very uncomfortable with those aspects of herself and I'm looking for advice on how i can help her be the little princess i see in her. I keep telling her i love her like that but she keeps saying she's scared of irritating me and things like that... So any tips and advice would be welcome
Guest Posted August 19, 2017 Report Posted August 19, 2017 Hi there! If she's worried that she's irritating you or being too clingy when she's feeling little, maybe initiating/helping her get into little space may help....it could show her that you really do love her when she's like that and want to spend time together in that way too Of course it depends on what helps her get into little space (cute clothes, stuffies, tv shows etc.) as everyone is different but in my experience if Daddy talks to me like I'm little (calling me cute names) it usually sends me right into little space as well as being reassuring that I'm not irritating him I also find that interacting with my Daddy like this helps to keep me in little space too! Hope this helped at least a little bit 1
Guest infinitecases Posted August 19, 2017 Report Posted August 19, 2017 When you put a name to her personality and how she naturally is, it can be quite daunting. A lot of littles who identify as that have to come to terms with the fact that they are clingy and fully embracing the idea that everything they enjoy doing is actually what a child enjoys doing. I know when I found out, I was scared of being irritating to my daddy too because I finally had to accept those things about myself even though my daddy had accepted it a long time ago. If she likes colouring and watching animated movies, you could try those first! Although I think the best way to make her little might be just talking to her like one. I instantly get into little space when my Daddy calls me a good girl if I've done something that's a 'Little activity'... or when he talks softly to me and makes me feel all warm inside. I think that breaking down her walls of when she is not little will help you get through to her because I know it can be a bit embarrassing at first to let that side of her 'be known' after she's found out she's a little. Maybe you could talk about all the reasons you love her randomly in a conversation and include the fact that she cuddles her stuffies etc... then maybe she'll loosen up a little and feel better about it! I found that finally being able to call my daddy.. daddy.. made me feel more little than before because of the connotations of the title. 1

When she goes in to little space, she is breaking down a barrier put up and reinforced by society. I can guarantee that at least once in her life someone told her to "Grow up" or "Stop acting like a child." She desperately does not want to hear this from you. So by you initiating an activity, it makes a safe space for her to join in with you. As for how to get started here is a huge list of little activities, advice on how to make a little feel little, and a technique called Animal Hour, invented by LittleBree and her daddy. Good luck! 1
