Paci help some one

I love my paci I love it so much!' It's so pretty and actually fits my mouth. There is only one bad thing about it. It's a nuk 6 and has a very large seam down the middle of it that rest on the roof of my mouth while I'm sucking on it. When I just leave it in my mouth it's fine but when I sick it, the seam scrapes the top of my mouth. I suck in it while I sleep and some times it leaves my moth all raw. Dose anyone know how to either smooth out the seam or something I can do to fix this. I don't want to give up my paci.

Maybe use a soft nail file on the seam? Just enough to get rid of the ridge?
