Guest DaddyWildWolf Posted August 13, 2017 Report Posted August 13, 2017 Story 01Long ago there was a Wild Man, and The Wolf. The Wild Man hunted The Wolf, and The Wolf hunted the Wild Man. Their battle was everlasting for neither of these two fiendish foes could die. The Wolf was proud, he wanted to protect his lands from the Wild Man... while the Wild Man, saw The Wolf and it's lands as a menace to be snuffed out. The two would constantly hunt one another, but no matter where the Wild Man looked he could not find The Wolf, and no matter how many trails The Wolf picked up he could not track the Wild Man... Far above them was the Princess of the Moon. She watched their struggles unsure of what to make of them, for she was the only one that knew the truth. The Wild Man and The Wolf could not find each other... for they were one and the same. Surely the Princess could figure something out, so she took the form of a young maiden, and went down to the Earth to quell their troubles. The Wolf figured it out first, when he saw the Moon Maiden he brought himself to her side, where she tamed the struggle inside of him, The Wild Man now less wild could see that he was outnumbered, and so he sat quietly, allowing peace to ensue for now. The Wild Man and The Wolf now able to compromise in balance, thanked the Moon Maiden as one, and in her elation she began to dance, and The Wild Wolf danced with her. From that day on he swore he would protect her, and love her, for as long as she was his. And so the Wild Wolf and the Moon Maiden lived happily ever after.
Guest DaddyWildWolf Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 Story 02 The Moon Maiden and the Wild Wolf were always together, they talked together, they played together, the slept together, always. But one day the Moon Maiden suddenly vanished. The Wild Wolf was very apprehensive, he needed her, and she needed him. He kept her safe and cared for, and she kept him sane and gave him reason to see light. Her absence weighed heavily on the Wild Wolf's heart, so much so that he did the only thing he could... he began to look for her. He first looked in the forest, where they had met for the first time. He checked the trees, he checked the bushes, and he checked in all the places that his little Moon Maiden could have possibly gotten lost or stuck in. But she was nowhere to be found in the forest. Next he decided to check the beaches, the golden sand was coarse on his paws and when the wind blew it into his fur it was coarse there as well. But still he searched for her, he looked near tide-pools and in stacks of driftwood and in all the places that his little Moon Maiden could have possibly gotten lost or stuck in. But she was nowhere to be found at the beach. From the beach he checked the ocean, searching through ships and seas, fighting storms and sea monsters alike. He searched and he searched, he looked in monsters and in ships, he checked the deepest parts of the ocean and in all the places that his little Moon Maiden could have possibly gotten lost or stuck in. But she was nowhere to be found around the ocean. His search took him to the mountains, and the mountains were vast. He climbed to the highest peaks, and looked through countless passes. He kept looking for her and would not give up hope that he would find her, he searched high and low, in caves and in fissures, all the places that his little Moon Maiden could have possibly gotten lost or stuck in. But she was not on the mountains, or anywhere on Earth it seemed. He sat upon the top of the mountain and howled up at the sky where the moon itself should be. He spent his days searching and his nights howling. If only she could hear him. If only he could see her. He searched and howled for sixteen days. On the seventeenth he saw the moon itself return, and from within its glow his Moon Maiden descended, her eyes closed as if she was in a deep sleep. She had been there the whole time, in his heart, though she was far away the Moon Maiden and her Wild Wolf were bound together, and when she opened her bright blue eyes she smiled and hugged her Wild Wolf tightly.
