hi lala! i've never had a serious proper relationship so i don't know how sound my advice will be, but maybe very slowly open up to him? giving small hints or acting more as you would when you feel little around him openly before talking to him about ddlg could help ease him into understanding everything better. i think honesty is the best policy, but it's really scary to tell people things when they can judge you for it, especially a loved one. i'm sure if you've been together that long he'll want to make you happy wishing you lots of luck, message me if you need to talk
