Help???

I recently found a new boyfriend, and he's great and all. We have similar interests and we hit things off pretty well. However, recently I asked him "What do you think of CGL?" His response? Well... "during sex it's cool, but i think a whole relationship based off of it is a little weird." He asked me if I wanted a relationship like that, and I just brushed it off because I didn't want to weird him out. CGL is a big part of my life and kinks, and it's great that at least he likes the sexual part but I don't know what to do? He's perfect in every way except for this, and it makes me a little sad. He's started calling my kitten, and he does have a big thing for kittenplay, but I'd rather he'd like CGL instead. Overall, I'm just really confused and I don't know what to do.

There's no way you're going to get through to him about what you want other than talking to him about it. That's really all you can do, if he still finds it weird then I don't know what to tell you other than not everybody is into the same things. You said he's perfect in every way other than this so a question you have to ask yourself is if he isn't into the idea of a CG/l relationship can you live with that? You said he was pretty much perfect in every way other than this so is this a deal breaker?

 

If it is a deal breaker don't make him feel bad because of his preferences because you might be forcing him into a role he can't accurately fulfill because he isn't into it. You can't force someone to be something they're not. I think the fact that he asked you if you wanted a relationship like that could be a good sign, it shows a slight interest in the relationship aspect of CG/l (at least I'm assuming, I wasn't there - I don't know his tone, or how he worded the question). 

 

Just talk to him about it. Explain that a CG/l relationship is something that you're genuinely interested in and explain what that means to you. Explain what aspects of CG/l you're into and what you like about it, so his vision isn't blurred by his interpretations of CG/l - because what he thinks of it may be completely different to what you want out of the dynamic. Communication is key in this situation.
