Older/Mature Littles/Middles

I'm going to be turning 50 soon. I feel the same. I discovered ddlg almost 2 years ago I think. It's been an interesting Journey so far. 

It's been hard connecting with people because of the age thing and life circumstances.

Older middle here, 34. I love knowing that I'm not alone in being an older middle/little. I always see the younger girls and I'm like "oh man... will Daddies think I'm too old?" Ah, insecurity. I can't seem to escape you.

The way I see it, if someone thinks I am too old/annoying/whatever else...they aren't meant for me.

The way I see it, I know I'm still young on the inside and I'm 39 years old, but I am indeed a little. I love plushies and animals. I love the color pink and glitter. 🌻 I'm learning so much more about myself as time goes on and hope I meet other littles here.

I'm still learning so much about myself too so I can relate! And getting back in touch with those things I did enjoy or want to do as a kid and might not have been able to is just honestly so amazing.

Thank you! That's what I love about opening up about these things. I'm glad someone else can relate. I've always held myself back due to fearing of being judged. Now I'm happy to just be able to open up and not care what people say. I'm truly happy. 😊

I feel old in this community as I'm over 25, but good to know there are people much older than me.

At 44 I get asked a lot about whether I feel old because of all the 19 and 20 year olds. My answer is simple, nope, because I have a tendency to gravitate towards people who are at a similar place in their lives. That means when I look around my friends in the DDlg community most of them are 30+. If other people try and tell me I'm too old, whelp . . . Their loss.

Hi .. I've seen a few other littles post who also in their 50's.  I turned 52 in July and figured out I was a little about a year and a half ago . .maybe a bit longer.   Its really nice to know there are other older littles out there.

I'm certainly finding it difficult to find a Daddy. At 52, i do not think Daddy's are wanting someone older. Certainly feels like it on this site.

I've found for older littles it is often easier to find a caregiver through interactions offline. It's not to say that websites and forums can't be useful but littles of different ages are often looking for different things. I found my Daddy at 39 at a furry conference. I just find often times younger littles are looking for something quick and older littles are looking for something deeper which is easier to find through in person interactions than on a virtual platform.

I am 40 and I just learned in the last few months that I am a middle little. I have always felt that I was younger on the inside than I am on the outside. My Daddy is actually 5 years younger than me and loves that I am a little. I want to say we have grown stronger since the little world has been introduced to me because I am discovering myself in front of him and it's because of him that I found that I am a little.

I'm glad this thread is here, cuz Idk why but I can't really relate much to littles who are like < 30 Anyone else have this problem??

I am new to DDLG, and I’m 29. I think my Little is preteen-teenage. I am grateful that my Daddy is 10+ older then me…It works for our dynamic.

This is really good advice. Thank you! I've definitely noticed that it's difficult to find someone to connect with on a deeper level through forums and online platforms. I was hoping here may be different of course and the hopeless romantic won't give up that hope. But I may also have to give it a whirl trying to attend events.
